Iggy was over the desire to see such things and Baine was right there behind him as he started off toward the main aisle.

“Please, don’t!” Derson caught him by the sleeve. “Please don’t do this.”

Iggy tugged his arm free, tearing his sleeve, and exposing the tattoo. That’s when he forgot all training. All respect. All tolerance. It was as if someone else had taken over him, someone intentionally non-compliant to the sacred laws of Firmin’s rule. He rose his clenched fist and blasted Derson right in the chest with a freezing hit without thinking twice about it. Getting to Branching was far more important. Derson fell back into the audience, unconscious, and Iggy marched forward with Baine at his side, instead.
