Chapter 27

Smith is a real estate agent. He and Josh had been friends since Josh and Anna’s honeymoon. They met at the hotel Josh and Anna lounged into. Smith’s room was directly opposite Josh and Anna’s room. Sometimes‚ Smith would help watch Angelina when Josh and Anna were away on a date. Josh would sometimes go to him whenever he needed help and support with some personal issues. He and Josh had grown closer over the years.

Angelina had looked up to him as an uncle. He always came visiting every Christmas along with his fiancée‚ but he recently lost her earlier that year. She had an asthmatic attack at her place of work‚ and died in the ambulance on their way to the hospital.

Angelina always loved the presents he got for her every year.

“I'm sorry I'm late. My flight was delayed.” He said immediately and Anna let him in. Anna hugged him and he hugged her back.

“Uncle Smith!” Angelina called running to him.
