Chapter 14 - Off The Deep End

"Lilith!" I looked back to see Amanda running up behind us.

"I'll see you later," Lucis said before kissing my forehead and leaving me standing there, what the hell was my problem. I never minded being alone, but I was struggling to be away from Lucis.

"Lilith," Amanda said panting as she reached me.

"why were you running?" I asked looking at him, hunched over and trying to catch her breath

"I'm okay," she said standing up and putting her hand on my shoulder "sooooo," she said almost singing the word "you and Loki huh" I bit my lip looking at her, and then looked away "hey hey come on give me the details," she said rubbing her hands together,

"uh, there aren't any details to tell we only just started, well, whatever this is" I started walking towards the building

"I see, where were you yesterday? I saw you at the gate then you disappeared" I looked back at her

"I went home, wasn't feeling up to it yesterday" Amanda looked me up and down
