Chapter 47

Prince Connor's POV

"Is that the best that you can get, brother?" I asked Conrad, who looked at me annoyingly. "We have seen this kind of setup." He looked at me. His facial reactions expressed the where do you see this kind of setup look. I rubbed my temple in frustration. "Do you remember your first wedding anniversary?" He nodded obliviously. "We helped your wife to arrange this kind of setup for a candlelight dinner, but you never find out how perfect it was because you never showed up." I smirked at him. I was sitting at the wooden bench in the garden while eating the macaroon that Lili has made. And, of course, I am here to annoy the hell of my brother. His angry and irritated face always makes my day complete.

"Did I ask you to remind me of that worst day of my life?!" He yelled at me while holding the flower vase that he's about to place at the center of the table. He might break that because of his tight grip. Poor vase.
