Chapter 2

November 30, 2020

                              Izabella's P.O.V 

    It's been two weeks since I saw my twin sister. Yesterday I went back to the apartment I shared with Matt to pick up the rest of my things. He was a little emotional and worried but I told him I needed to be with my pack and train so that I can be a strong Alpha. He understood and only asked that I come to visit often and to keep him up to date on what was going on with Lizzie and her twin boys. Speaking of Lizzie, she told me that when we were 14 she found out that she was mated to this werewolf that lived down the street from us. And it turns out I am the first female hybrid to ever be alpha to a pack, the first hybrid in existence. Lizzie told me that when our parents gave us to the Johnsons, they gave them permission to turn only one of us, not knowing that we were already werewolves. I had asked her how they didn't know and she said it was because we didn't shift like normal werewolf pups. So when our adoptive parents got permission to turn one of us they chose me because on our 3rd birthday, Lizzie had actually shifted for the first time.

  "Babe!" I shouted as I walked into the pack house. 

I walked further into the house and was greeted by several members of the pack. I haven't been reinstated into the pack yet but most of the pack is already referring to me as their alpha. 

"Morning Alpha." One of the newer members, Britney, shouted as I walked into the kitchen. 

I smiled then waved at her and opened the refrigerator and grabbed two steaks and turned to the stove. As I started to cook and season them Luc came in and wrapped his arms around my waist while nuzzling my neck. I giggled, then flipped the steak and turned in his arms. I wrapped my arm around his neck. 

"Hi." He said as he smiled at me. 

"Hi baby." I said with a smile then I gave him a soft kiss.

 He pulled me in closer and kissed me deeply . 

"Ew Luc get a room."  Ron said as he walked into the kitchen. 

I giggled then buried my face in Luc's chest from embarrassment. Luc chuckled lightly then lifted my chin and gazed into my eyes. I smiled up at him then pecked his cheek and turned back to the stove and finished making our steaks. 

"Babe?" I said

"Yeah." 

"Corn and greens or baked potatoes?" 

 "Potatoes." 

I nodded then turned back to the stove and turned the flame down so the steaks wouldn't burn then began to peel a few potatoes and started to boil some water. A few minutes later,, once the steaks and potatoes were done, I grabbed some barbecue sauce along with butter and salt then carried the plates to the table and set one down in front of Luc then sat down next to him. We ate in complete silence until some of the pack came running into the kitchen and immediately surrounded us. 

I looked at them with a concerned look, "What's going on?" I asked .

 They looked at each other then one of them, my future Beta Jackson, stepped forward and cleared his throat.

 "Alpha, ma'am." He said while looking at the wall behind me, carefully not making eye contact with me as a sign of respect. 

In this pack if you looked the alpha in the eye, the alpha would take it as a threat or challenge. I nodded in his direction, silently giving him permission to speak. 

"Alpha, there's been a report of a kidnapping in the south banks." 

"Near The Montgomery home?" I asked

"Yes ma'am" 

"Any idea who made the hit?" 

"Mrs. Lawson ma'am."

"Hmm, well here is what I want to happen. Jackson, you and Alex go to the Lawson home. Take six Omega's with you, take this as a…field training session but make sure you keep the Lawson's under round the clock surveillance . Understood?"

"Yes ma'am. " 

"Good as for the rest of the pack, I want every pup under the age of 12 in the omega house with at least 20 guards. NOW." 

"Yes Alpha." 

I nodded then once they walked away I pulled out my phone. I listened to the dial tone then sighed when he picked up. 

"Hello?" 

"Where are you?"  

"I'm still in Oklahoma. Why what's wrong?"

"I need a favor." 

"I'm listening."

I looked back at Luc then walked into the next room so he wouldn't hear me. 

"Call them. It's important."

"Izzie are you sure? If we do this there's no turning back."

"I know that but there was a report of a kidnapping today."

The lone went silent for a little.

"That'll make it what 15 this week." 

"Exactly. I need more information and my pack can NOT know. Which is why I need to call in that favor." 

"Alright Dimples. Give me an hour and I'll get back to you."

I smiled, "Thanks Randy." 

I hung up the call then walked back into the kitchen. As I sat down at the table, Luc cleared his throat pointedly. I looked up from my plate and waited. 

"What was that about?" He asked.

"What was what about?"

"The whole leaving with your phone thing." 

I rolled my eyes, "I was just talking to a friend." 

"A friend you have to leave your MATE FOR JUST TO TALK?" 

"HOW ARE YOU MAD RIGHT NOW?" 

"OH PLEASE IT'S BEEN NOTHING BUT SECRETS FROM YOU FOR THE LAST TWO DAYS. YOU WON'T TELL ME SHIT! FUCK YOU MEAN HOW AM I MAD?" 

 "DID YOU NOT JUST HEAR WHAT THE FUCK HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR THE LAST TWO FUCKING DAYS. I HAVE OTHER SHIT ON MY MIND RIGHT NOW!" 

"WEL. STOP HIDING SHIT FROM ME!" 

"IM NOT HIDING ANYTHING!!"

"THEN WHO THE FUCK WAS JUST ON THE PHONE?!"

"I JUST TOLD YOU IT WAS A FRIEND.  GOD WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!"

"You know what nothing mane I'm good."

I rolled my eyes then slammed down my fork and ran outside to my black on black Kawasaki Ninja H2 then put on my helmet and drove off. 

I drove around for a few minutes then stopped once I got to the forest a few miles from the pack house, I got off the motorcycle then walked up to a tree with a very thick trunk and began to punch it. I didn't stop for almost an hour , my mind filled with all of the possibilities of who could be taking wolf pups running through my mind. I punched and punched as red as I could then stopped once my phone started to ring.  I took it out of my pocket then looked at the caller ID then frowned when I saw Luc's name flashing across the screen. I rejected the call then went on with punching the tree. 

I stopped momentarily when I heard some leaves rustling behind me. I stayed completely still while listening sharply. All in two seconds someone was behind me, they put their hand over my mouth and choked me. I gasped for air once then quickly elbowed them in the face. I turned around quickly then threw ice at them, freezing their body mid-step. I looked at the person's face and smirked then unfroze them. 

"Really Zach?" 

"Well hi to you too Dimples." 

I rolled my eyes then turned and froze the three other people behind me, knowing it was the rest of the boys trying to attack me from behind, I scanned their faces then smiled while tears filled my eyes. 

"You really came." I whispered in shock. 

Zach chuckled and wrapped his arm around my shoulders, "Of course we came, you're always gonna be our little sis. You know that." 

"Where's Randy?" 

"Turn around Dimples." 

I turned then ran to him and tackled him to the ground as I hugged him tightly. 

"I missed you too Dimples." 

I smiled then stood and unfroze the others. As soon as the ice melted they tackled me to the ground, hugging and tickling me till I begged them to stop. We all stood up and I looked at the 6 of them.

"Randy, Zach, John,  Tyler, David, Bryan you guys really came." 

"Course we came. I told you, one call and we'll come running." 

I smiled at the boys. They were all smart in their own way, John was the school nerd, he knew everything there was to know when it came to school, Randy was the tech head , if there was a computer problem he was right on it,  Zach was the weapons man, swords knives, ninja stars, guns, and armor were his thing, Tyler was the "scene setter" as we call him, whenever we went on a kill mission and there were bodies, Ty knew how to make a crime scene look like a suicide, it's why we never got caught,  Bryan is a sniper guy,  if we wanted something done from afar we called him, and David is the Trainer, he trained us hard without breaks and pushed far beyond our limits. I was just the spoiled little sister who got all the protection in the world. I met them when I was 10 years old. I was sitting alone on the playground when some of the usual girls walked up and started messing with me. I was used to it so I just sat there and let them talk, when suddenly there they were running over and yelling at the girls to leave me alone and to stop bothering me or they were gonna regret it. We've been inseparable ever since, I love them like family and I know they feel the same.

"Dimples what happened to your arm?" 

I looked up shocked at Josh's question, I had completely forgotten about them.

 I pulled my shirt sleeve down over my arm, "N-nothing." 

"Izabella." 

"It was Matt okay, he was mad at me I'm sure he didn't mean it." 

The second I told them what happened I regretted it. I saw the same look of bloodlust in their eyes that I saw in Luc's when he found out.  

"Boys calm down, I'm fine." 

They ignored me and went to their red Kawasaki Ninja H2's and drove off toward Matt's apartment. I groaned then got on my bike and drove behind them. Once we got to the house they stormed inside. I knew they were gonna beat the living hell out of Matt and I couldn't let it happen so I ran in front of them and put up a force field so they couldn't go into the kitchen where Matt was. It was a dumb move because they're a special breed of hybrids, they mixed with a vampire, witch, and a werewolf. Randy growled and glared at me. 

"Take it down."

"Not unless you promise not to hurt him." 

"He hurt you." 

"I know Randy but I'm okay I promise I'm okay." 

"Izabella move now." 

"But Randy-"

"NOW!" 

I jumped slightly then took down the force field. They stormed into the kitchen and surrounded Matt with looks of pure hate on their faces. It wasn't really a shock to me, I knew that the six of them hated Matt but I never knew the real reason behind it. 

"You tell her?" Randy growled at Matt 

"No I was told not to." 

"You're gonna tell her right now or I am going to rip your heart clean from your chest." 

Matt looked at me then swallowed nervously, "I need to tell you something." 

"Okay." 

"You know how you're adopted and everything right?" 

"Yeah." 

"Well…..they're actually your real brothers." 

I looked at the boys with shock running through my mind, "R-really?" 

Randy nodded

"Why didn't you tell me a few days ago why wait until they get here to say something?" 

"Because Randy and John told me not to. Once they figured out you were their sister they said it was safer to let you find out about the pack first." 

I turned to look at Ron and John, "How do you know for sure?" 

Randy pulled up his shirt sleeve, showing me his wrist, then he looked at the other 5, and they did the same. On each wrist I saw the same identical mark. On each of their wrists, they each had a different phase of the moon. I looked at them then traced my finger over each one. Randy had a New moon, his mark was lighter than the other boys, Zach had a Waxing Crescent, John had a First Quarter Moon, Tyler had a Waxing Gibbous Moon, David had a Full Moon, and Bryan had a Waning Gibbous Moon. 

"What about Elizabeth?" I whispered. 

"She has a Waning Crescent." 

I went over the phases of the moon in my head then lifted my sleeve and sure enough there was a Third Quarter Moon beginning to form on my wrist. 

I looked up at Randy, who had a huge smile on his face. Then he did the most unbelievable thing, HE HUGGED MATT. I was grinning so hard at the sight of them finally getting along. I was about to sit down and watch some TV since I thought we were gonna be there for a while, but Randy  and the boys came and said we had to get back to the pack house. I rolled my eyes then said bye to Matt then walked outside and got on my motorcycle and drove back to the pack house and waited for the boys. Once they got there. I waited patiently for them to get off of their bikes then blew out a breath in annoyance. 

"What's going on?" I demanded 

"Chill and stay here don't move." 

"What why?" 

"Just chill and stay here." 

I rolled my eyes then watched them drive away down the street. I sat on the front porch, scrolling through Instagram on my phone to pass the time. About thirty minutes later, they boys pulled up to the house with a black AudtoR8 Spyder, following close behind them. I stood slowly as they got off of their bikes then looked toward the car. I instantly frowned when two scents hit me like a wave. A man with dark brown hair and a woman with red hair stepped out of the car and spoke to the boys. The lady turned her head in my direction then to a step toward me but Zach stepped in front of her and growled. I sat and watched while listening to the whole thing. 

"Zachary, move aside." The woman shouted at Zach. 

"You cannot go near the Alpha." 

"She's my daughter. What do you mean I can't go near her?" 

The rest of the boys and some of the pack came and stood in front of me and I stood like a queen, looking down at the woman with a satisfied smirk on my face. 

"Mom, that is as far as you are allowed to walk. Go any further and we will take it as a threat and we will be forced to remove you and Dad from her property…with force."

"Let your Mother pass Zachary." 

I growled at the sight of someone challenging one of my pack. I looked to my left then to my right at my beta and my top omega.

"Figure out what they want and report back." I whispered to them. They nodded then walked over to them. 

As I watched shouted, "Stand down Zach let them handle it." 

He nodded then stepped back with his head ducked down. Juan, my top omega, and Jackson, my Beta, came back to me and stood in front of me. 

"Permission to speak Alpha."  Jackson said 

"Granted."

"They want to speak to you. Privately." 

"What for?"

"They claim to be your parents ma'am." 

I glared at them man and the woman then growled, "Bring them inside. Arianna, go check on the pups please." 

"Yes Alpha." 

I nodded then walked inside. I sat on the couch and waited as they made their way into the house. I stood immediately and stared at them. 

 "What do you want?" 

"Rosalind please try to understand-" The man started to speak but I held up my hand to silence him. 

"Let's get something clear. My name is Izabella not Rosalind. Also when are speaking to me you will address me as Alpha and nothing else. Understood?"  

They looked confused but I honestly didn't care. Who did they think they were, trying to come back into my life after abandoning me for 17 years without a word. 

"Understood?" I growled while staring at them. 

They nodded quickly then I turned my attention to the man who was speaking before. 

"You may continue."

He cleared his throat, "As I was saying before, Alpha, you must try to understand our…reasoning behind leaving you and your sister with the Johnsons. We were only doing what was best for the two of you." 

I snickered, "Okay so your telling me that sending me and Elizabeth to live with strangers, having them raise us, and hide the fact that we are wolves AND that we have six older brothers, was 'best for us'. That is the dumbest shit I have ever heard in my life. I mean let's be honest here, did you two raise the boys or send them away also?"

"We raised them yes." 

"Why did you decide to send us away what the hell did we EVER DO TO YOU WE WERE BABIES." 

You didn't shift on your second day of birth like normal werewolf does." 

"That's because we aren't JUST werewolves, we're 1st generation hybrids and you would've known that if you stuck around." 

I smiled to myself when I heard my sister's voice then looked toward the door, where she was waited to get invited in. 

"Lizzie come in." 

She smiled then stepped into the pack house and came to stand next to me. 

"You two really have some nerve, coming and trying to talk to Izabella as if you didn't abandon her for 17 years." She growled.  I smiled to myself, happy that she was here.

"Why after all these years, did the two of you decide to come and find us?" I asked out of pure curiosity. 

"We needed to meet you and since we knew that the two of you wouldn't want to talk to us, we figured we'd try to meet you here and get you talk with us then." 

"So you are trying to force us to talk to you. Wow you guys really are assholes." Lizzie said with a growl. 

I smirked a little then stared the woman down, "Why haven't you said anything?" 

"I don't know what to say. I mean honestly how can two children that were given to a loving family be so cruel to their own parents?" 

"Excuse you bitch but our parents died because of you. I don't give a fuck if I came out of you, your ass never showed up for anything not a birthday, Christmas, Halloween, Easter, when I got my period, NONE OF IT AMD YOU WANNA COME UP IN HERE TO MY PACK HOUSE, TO MY PACK GROUNDS, AND TRY TO COME BACK INTO MY LIFE. FUCK YOU!" 

Everyone looked shocked but I didn't care I wasn't done with them.

 "You two are some real examples of parents. How the fuck you gonna send us away but raise our brothers, THERE'S SIX OF THEM FOR FUCK'S SAKE. BUT NAH YALL WANTED PERFECT CHILDREN AS OF COURSE WHEN WE DIDN'T SHIFT IT MADE ALL THE SENSE IN THE WORLD TO SEND US AWAY." I yelled 

 Then I stared at the man then smirked, "Bet you ain't know she was fucking a vampire behind your back did you?" 

His eyes ballooned in shock and the woman's face paled at my words. 

I smiled and continued to speak,  "Now, get the fuck away from my house and don't come back."  

They were still in a state of shock from my words and I was honestly glad, now everybody knew the truth. I turned to look at Lizzie and I was shocked to see tears in her eyes. My mind raced at all of the things that could be wrong with her. My thoughts halted when I saw blood slowly pouring from her mouth. I screamed in shock when I saw it. 

"LUC!!" I screamed as I tried to make her eyes stay open.

Luc came rushing over to us then once he saw Lizzie he held his hand to her neck, trying to catch a pulse, I looked at him, worried and scared. He sighed then shook his head. 

I panicked, in seconds I was down on my knees crying in loud heavy sobs, but my thoughts halted quickly, I stood quickly then dried my face.  

"Arianna, call Matthew for me." 

 Yes Alpha."
