(This scene opens with three different class teachers marking the register. One of the teachers call two names and they respond present. When he gets to Jennifer Williams, there is no response then the other two teachers mention the name of her siblings, Isaac and Whitney and there is no response. There is silence on the screen and it goes blank then a phone starts ringing and then the person picks up and the person who is in his early 40's but looking like he is in his late 20's is shown on the screen)
Fredrick: Hello Williams speaking... afternoon Principal... I had my driver drop them at school this morning, anything the problem... (Sighs) I apologise on behalf of my kid's sir... yes I agree, so unruly of them... it won't happen again... I know sir, this is the tenth time it has happened, I've been counting as well... I will handle them as required sir...yes I can never forget the donations you always remind me to make to the school...
(His secretary in her early 30's enters his office)
Sir I have to go now, I'm in the middle of a very important meeting and my very important client just walked in...and you too sir. (The call ends, he drops his phone and takes a deep sigh)
Susan: Um sir, you don't have any meeting till tomorrow.
Fredrick: I know that, but he doesn't.
Susan: The school again sir? (Fredrick nods).
Fredrick: I don't know what else to say or do.
Susan: Don't worry sir... you will figure something out. And yes Sir, before I forget. I came to inform you that Mr Ogili called and he has agreed to our terms and is willing to have his marketing team and ours seat and discuss details.
Fredrick: Alright, that's good. Set the date and finalize the meeting arrangements then let it reflect on my schedule.
Susan: Yes sir.
(She turns around and leaves the office. Just immediately she leaves his phone rings and he picks it up)
Loretta: Hope your day is as wonderful as mine?
Fredrick: Oh it is. I was just about to call you.
Loretta: Oh, oh, what did they do this time?
Fredrick: The usual.
Loretta: This is like the what, the tenth time.
Fredrick: Glad you are counting too. Lorry I need your help.
Loretta: Well I'm at the beach in Hawaii I don't see how I can help you.
Fredrick: You are somewhere on the streets of Lagos in a moving car heading to one of your dealers to get materials for your next show.
Loretta: Well if you figured that out, you can figure out how to help your kids.
Fredrick: There are three of them!
Loretta: You should have thought about that when you were pumping you wife.
Fredrick: Yeah well at the time she wasn't complaining, she wanted it, we wanted it. And it was easier then... now I'm a widower with three kids and a demanding job... I can't handle this, I need some help.
Loretta: Then get a nanny. He or she could always keep watch over the kids when you are at work and get other things fixed.
Fredrick: I don't know about that.
Loretta: Fredrick your mansion is out of shape beginning with you, to your kids, your staff down to those rent-less tenants of yours. Your house needs to get in order.
Fredrick: Those rent-less tenants are my and your in-laws. (Loretta scoffs and Fredrick chuckles). What we need is a miracle. Unless you have Wonder woman on speed dial.
Loretta: I won't be talking to you if I did. But don't worry, I think I know someone that can do the job.
Fredrick: Oh thank you. I knew I could count on you. I love you, you are a life saver... And oh can the person be a woman, the thought of a male nanny doesn't seat well with me you know... Hello, Lorry.
(He pulls the phone away from his ear and sees that the call has been disconnected, he shakes his head). She hung up... Great.
(A woman in her late 30's is then shown smiling as she is looking at her phone)
Loretta: Yes, I hung up. (She chuckles). Steve turn around please.
Steve: Okay ma. To where ma?
Loretta: The restaurant.
Steve: Okay ma.
(Steve turns the car around and drives away).
Scene closes.
