Meeting at the Lakes club 1

The device suddenly started making a buzzing sound like a bee. This sound means he had an incoming call and the number was not saved inside his contact list.

He checked it and saw that the call was coming from the same location where Abby was. Why was she calling me with another number? He wondered as he quickly snatched Lekan's phone from his hand and connected it to the device.

"Hey, Iceman! Do not smash my phone in anger! I'm warning you!" Lekan shouted desperately.

Tunde ignored Lekan, picked the call and put it on speaker mode so they could all listen in.

[Hello.] But instead of Abby's voice, it was a deep male's voice that boomed through the phone's speaker

[Yes?] Tunde answered with a frown deeply etched on his forehead. This person was calling his number that he never gives out to none family and team members. Abby was the first person who was neither family nor team member that he gave the number to. He wondered if she was the one that gave this person his number.

[My name is Josh...] When they all heard the name of the caller, the twin's eyes both widen with surprise since they assumed Josh to be Abby's boyfriend. Tunde's eyes harden with murderous intent, 'so this bastard has the effrontery to call me!? For what purpose? To warn me to stay away from her?' He thought with jealousy.

[...sorry to burst in on you like this, I got your number from Abby's phone and I'd like to meet with you.]

[For what?] Tunde asked rudely, in a voice that had gone cold and deadly. 'He certainly wants to warn me away from her since he copied my number from her phone without her knowledge.'

He was so jealous right then he couldn't think straight. All he could think about was what both of them could be doing in a hotel together.

'What's with the attitude? Why is he always hostile when he doesn't even know me? What the fuck is his problem? What kind of a man has my sister fallen in love with?' Josh on his part wondered with worry and concern for his sister when he remembered the deadly stare Tunde gave him after he dropped Abby off.

[It concerns Abby, I'll meet you anywhere of your choice, 11 pm okay by you?] He just went straight to why he called without wasting both their time

[The Lakes Club. Give the security guy your name when you arrive] Tunde said and immediately disconnected the call.

"Oh wow! What an ass!" Josh said in wonder before heading back to join the party.

The party ended by 10 pm after they bid the last guest good night.

"Be expecting my call. I'll call you as soon as I get home." Dupe said, her voice a little slurred because of the alcohol she consumed.

"Yeah, if you are not asleep by the time you get home?" Abby laughed when she saw how tipsy her friend was. After hugging and bidding Dupe and her husband good night, Abby and her family left the party venue together, and in less than thirty minutes they arrived at The Flower Garden Estate where her dad's house was located.

Sitting on her dad's three plots of land were two different buildings that were separated by a metal picket fence. The second house belonged to Josh. It was originally built as a two-bedroom BQ apartment where Abby and Julianna lived before they moved out and into her own house at Angel Estate.

When Josh was talking about getting an apartment and moving out of their parent's house, their dad Tade suggested he took the empty apartment instead of wasting money on getting another one outside.

Being an architect, After some time, Josh was able to convert the BQ apartment into a beautiful bungalow of four luxurious bedrooms and a huge living room.

Abby changed into casual wear of short, a t.shirt, and a flip-flop before heading out to her brother's place.

"Going out again?" She asked when she saw Josh had changed his outfit and was on his way out.

"Yep... I'm meeting someone. It's already late and it's been a long day, why don't you go ahead to bed, we'll talk tomorrow.

"Okay... But I need your help to get something from the pharmacy... If you don't mind?" Abby asked hopefully

"What? you feeling okay?"

"Yes...ehhmmn. I need the morning after pill. I can't get it at the pharmacy here...you know who owns it, so..." She trailed off, hoping Josh would just agree and not question her about it.

The pharmacy inside the estate was owned by their pastor's wife and she would rather not go there to avoid being looked down on as a sinner

"Which do you want? ..." Josh asked casually like it was normal for every brother to get birth control pills for their kid sisters.

"Don't know...not that have taken any before..."

"Okay...just leave that to me." He assured her before driving off to his appointment at the Lakes club.

Abby went back inside to join the rest of the family in the living room and informed them that she would be spending the night at her brother's place. After chatting for some time, her parents retired to their different rooms for the night and she went back to her brother's place.
