Meeting at the Lakes club 2

The Lakes Club and Lounge, located on the Island was one out of many numerous high-end clubs owned by Lekan Beckley, In Nigeria.

Josh arrived at the club sooner than he expected. It took him a while to get a space to park since the lakes parking space was filled up, maybe because it was Saturday he wondered, the club he frequented had never been this filled up before, not even on weekends.

He gave his name to one of the burly security men at the door who immediately said something he couldn't hear into a hidden device on his wrist.

After some seconds, another man that was built like a mountain arrived and beckoned for him to come. Josh followed closely behind the man-mountain who was wearing a chest holster that revealed the grip of a wicked-looking gun as they weaved their way through the crowded club.

'The Lakes is a strip club, no wonder it's so crowded,' Josh realized as he saw two, almost naked beautiful girls dancing on the pole. 'I'm sure going to come back here after today,' he thought to himself and nearly bumped into a pillar because he was carried away by a tall waitress who was wearing a short black leather jumpsuit with her boobs almost spilling out.

They arrived at a staircase and climbed up to the lounges area which was divided into sections so customers could have their privacy in case they request a private lap dance.

The lounge section they entered was closed off from the rest with a floor-to-ceiling, one-way mirror that made it possible for people inside to look down at the activities downstairs.

The man-mountain turned and signaled for him to wait by the door. Seeing the gun very close to him made Josh shivered, this is the first time he's seeing a gun up-close and personal.

"Boss" Josh heard the mountainous man called out to someone inside the lounge.

'Boss!?... Just who exactly did Abby fell in love with?... Is he some kind of an underground boss?' Josh wondered, remembering the unwarranted, hard murderous glance the man gave him from the car, he immediately felt a cold sweat run down his back.

Even if he truly doesn't feel like it, he feels courtesy demands it so he went forward and nicely extended his hand towards the man in greeting when he was asked to enter.

"Hi, I'm Josh." He said with a smile. The smile was sooner wiped away from his face when he heard the man's reply to him.

"So?... What the fuck do you want?" Tunde snarled with an arched brow, looking at the person in front of him with disdain.

'He's a threat I should eliminate as soon as possible.' Tunde thought with annoyance when he noticed Josh was very good-looking too, and with the kind of build, a woman would get hot on. He ignored Josh's outstretched hand, didn't even bother to stand up from where he sat with one leg crossed over the other.

Josh was surprised at the man's attitude, he also clearly saw why his sister fell for him. The man was very handsome. Ruggedly good-looking with an air of mystery about him. As a man, Josh was not ashamed to admit that fact to himself.

He also looks very dangerous, too dangerous for his sister who was feisty and fiery. He doesn't look like who would have the patient for Abby's kind of fierce personality.

"What do you want with her!?" Josh went straight to his purpose of coming to see him, while he calmly withdrew his outstretched hand to himself. Although he was scared of this maniac of a man and his mountainous goon standing outside the door with a gun, he would be damned if he allowed them to read the fear on his face.

Tunde gave a menacing laugh when he heard the question.

"What do I want with her huh?" He asked in amusement. "That's our business don't you think?... But I'm sure gonna take her away from you while you watch, stupid!.... And there's nothing you can do about it."

'Stupid!?' Josh was now clearly riled up by his attitude, 'just who does he think he is? Does he think he can talk to people anyhow simply because he owns a gun?'

"Stay away from her!" Josh warned not too calmly. He was angry but trying hard to keep his emotions in check.

"And who the fuck are you to order me to stay away from her!? She's mine now you hear!? MY WOMAN!? So the faster you get that into your stupid head, the better for you!" Tunde drawled dangerously, his brown eyes hard, cold, and challenging.

"I'm HER BROTHER!... That's who the fuck I am. Who the hell are you!?" Josh shouted furiously at him "...and did I hear you say your woman!?" He gave a harsh derisive laugh "...I'm sorry but who gave her hand to you in marriage?" He added sarcastically while laughing in disbelief.

Shegz who was standing guard at the door came in immediately when he heard Josh shouted at his boss. 'Just who the hell does this moron think he's talking to,' he thought, ready to haul the idiot out by his scruffy neck and teach him the lesson his mother failed to teach him while he was young.

"Wait, what did you say!?..." Tunde stood up suddenly with surprise. "You are what?... Who did you say you were again!? You are not her boyfriend?" He rapidly asked unbelievably.

"I'm not who's boyfriend?" Josh asked, clearly confused about what Tunde was blabbing about.

"Sorry please, who did you say you were to Abby!?"

"I AM HER BROTHER!... Who did you think I was?" Josh asked with a cross between shock and amusement expression on his face.

"You are her brother!?" He repeated stupidly. "You are not her boyfriend?" He asked hastily, grabbing at Josh's arms.

"What boyfriend?... Are you crazy?... Do I look like the kind of man who would fight another man, especially one that carried a gun over a girl?" He asked with a funny expression on his face.

"Oh fuck! Then why the hell would she let me believe that you were her boyfriend!?" Tunde asked, feeling a little deflated.
