Liz’s voice was loud and harsh. Everyone on the spot heard it.
Shawn sneered. 'The dead is dead. You should care more about the living.'
With out more words with Shawn, Jack said to the babysitter with his hands clenched, 'Let’s go!'
Shawn stood there and followed the tall figure into the car with his eyes. In an instant, the limousine disappeared from his sight. From distance, a white figure was approaching slowly. When met with the figure, Shawn’s sight got tender.
While he was driving, Jack asked Liz what’s going on. Being flustered, Liz kept mumbling and didn’t give the name of the lonely street she’s at until Jack fell impatient. Jack had no time to drop the babysitter and the baby before he heavily stomped on the accelerator. He was driving so fast that he didn’t even notice the panic on the babysitter’s face.
He pulled over at the street end at which the car couldn’t go further and started searching for Liz on foot.
