ch6 Third room

As Cross opened his eyes he was met with the same room he was once at but it was different lush greenery now grow all over the place. He was covered in vines and leaves off different trees covering him and healing him as if protecting him from anything that comes for him.

He tried to get up while moving the vines. To his surprise, the vines and leaves move on their own making a path for him to go true as if he is their king and will obey his every order. He sat up and opened his backpack. "What happened here? I have only been asleep by...almost 12 hours I still have 4 hours, I'll move better eat something first" He said getting some food from his backpack.

While eating some branches came to him having some fruits in them and vines with the same but different fruits. He smiled and held his hands as he holds fruit the same size as his fist having a swirl in them that makes him quite curious. He took a bit in them and taste the sweetest fruit he has ever had. He picks up some more and tried them all with one bite before moving to the other.

"This is good I bet I could sell them...hmmm maybe the teacher would know what kind of fruit are they and if I could plant them well then let's take of seed from them" As he said different kind of seed grows in the branches and lives. "What the!? Well looks like I don't need to get my hands dirty *Chuckles* Let's rest here for a few more hours till I move" As he spoke he lay down in the soft grass and smelled the fresh air that would make anyone feel like the earth's air smelled like shi*t.

As Cross lay down, there are two pairs of green eyes that are looking at them. One would say that it was a beautiful goddess has come down to earth. this person is a dryad that was given instruction by I Dream to heal and give him some sweet swirl fruit that only grows when a dryad is present. they can be replanted in a pot of earth that was given a blessing from a dryad.

The dryad just waited and examine Cross while he rested. "hmm a handsome child *giggle* I hope you become like what he said you meant to be then" As she said it she vanish from thick vines that encircle her before merging to the ground.

A few hours later Cross opened his eyes. "Haa I guess I fell asleep better move or else" As he said it he look around only to find the greenery gone the sweet weird kind of fruits were also gone. As he got up he also took his wand and backpack away before going in the door. The door has two bows on each side while the arrow was pointed in a hole in the middle of it.

Inserting his wand in it opened slowly revealing a man in a statue leaning on his chin. Cross walk-in close to it and the statue opened his white glowing eyes. "Who seeks to past most beat me in a game," He said removing his hand on his chin and a stone table emerged from the ground with a chest place in the center. and a seat opposite to the statue "Fine by me" Cross said seating at the opposite of the statue before moving a pawn forward.

The statue also moves one pawn forward while holding his chin again. Cross took a while more before moving a pawn forward. The game lasted for one hour until Cross won his game letting the statue crumble to the ground not before letting it speak to Cross. "That was a good game...I wish you luck then..."

Cross looks at the ruble before going near the door again with a mouth like an oni once again resides. It spoke to him. "Who wants to enter most first answer a riddle" in a more powerful tone than the last almost leaking out mana. "Tell me the riddle"

"Then answer this You jump but also not what are you doing," said the door to Cross which he thought over and over. "I jump but also not. what am I doing? What kind of riddle is this? I jump but also not jumping ahh yes hopping that's my answer its an also a jump motion but not moving in one direction while skipping is little hops and steps further than that is jumping so hopping or skipping is my answer" Said Cross to the door who gives a hmm sound before answering. "hmmm Reasonable you may enter" As the door opened again for Cross to walk in it.

He steps forward only to be greeted by darkness. he can't see all he could do is listen. He walks further and made a light spell illuminating the room. In the middle on if a stone tablet was seen it engrave a spell. Cross read it intensely. It said 'Defitus- A spell that creates a shallow defense all around your body. Will need a steady supply of mana to keep up the defense. Chant: Amyna. While pointing your wand at the person or item you wish to protect.' (A/N: Amyna is a Greek word for defense)

After reading Cross took a huge breath and chanted the spell imagining a small skin-like coat covering his body. Pointing on himself he chanted. "Amyna" a small glow appeared all over his body. he gave a sigh of relief and look around. "What kind of task is this? I ~" He didn't finish his word as a small wooden arrow penetrated his skin. "ACKKK! What the hell an arrow?" He said taking it out of his left arm holding it he saw small blood on the tip of it signifying it penetrated his skin breaking a defense spell. "Sh*t it's never easy in this dungeon," He said creating one more defense spell but at the same, it was cast and covered his body it was destroyed and a wooden arrow penetrated his lower back right side.

"Ackk damn Cross think the defense spell isn't strong enough do I need to increase the mana?" He said casting another spell while increasing the mana but it only broke the shield covering his body. Cross was hit on the leg by a wooden arrow penetrating his leg completely making it go to the other side "Damn! How strong is this arrow?" He said making another defense spell. He doesn't want to get penetrated again so the best option so far is to make a defense spell while he was thinking of a solution.

"Come on thing Cross adding more mana only destroyed the spell hmm maybe making it compact but I don't know where the arrow gonna come from well have to try at least covering my vital points while let the rest hit me I can recover it anyways," He said knowing real way that every time he got seriously injured in every room he would get real he only found out when he read the second note his master gave him.

Cross imagines a thicker layer of protection only to his vital points all over his body. After a defense has been broken again Cross pointed his wand on his head and cast the spell. A thicker layer of protection covered his vital points. As he waited he got shot in his right ram completely penetrating it on the other side.

"ACKKK!! BAD I DIEA!!! DAMN IT!!" Cross most released the spell cast a new one before thinking again. "Come on cross think first of too much mana breaks the spell thicken the thin layer of defense only made it shorter...Maybe imagining the thin line become thinker while increasing the mana lowly but if I am wrong I could get hurt...hmmm let's try it then" He said imagining a thicker defense layer over his body that is slowly increasing in mana to cover his body.

He was like that for few hours getting hit over and over as everything he did fail until he has done it. He increases the defense property of the Defitus spell a spell only for defending blond objects. "Well, maybe I should give little Cross a proper spell next *Chuckles* Ohh how fun was that for Cross? 13 arrow penetrated true his flesh blood on the floor but he has done it *Chuckles* Let's watch further"

As Cross kneeled on the ground covered in bruises and arrows all over his body but he isn't upset or mad he was smiling. "Finally...ha...much...ha....harder...ha...then...I...thought" He smiled once more looking at a thick 1-inch layer of defense all over his body that could withstand a penetrative attack of a Wind eagle mid-first core or so.

He fainted on the spot while grass, trees, bushes, and other plants grow in the room he was in feeding on his blood but also curing him of his wound as it slowly vanishes on his body. The trees tremble in delight as once again a green-eyed maiden watches him from the distance not appearing but also helping him.

"He's very interesting, hmm I would love to have him but he too young for me kukuku," She said her eyes becoming very dangerous. I saw this and bind his hearth. "Listen here do not I mean DO NOT TOUCH HIM HE ISINT YOURS TO KEEP UNDERSTAND?" I said to her who was now afraid to the core of how much magic power I was emitting. "y...yes o...of course ill not touch his ever after this!" She said I release here and continue watching Cross. (A/N: Dryad felt his magic from the dragon country or the mirror spell Dream casted)
