ch 9 Sixth room (Last room)

As Cross opened his eyes he was greeted by the blue endless sky. "Wow. Looks like the dryad here is a wind kind or I think" Cross said getting up and heading towards the door. Inserting his wand after looking at the door more closely. He opened it and walk inside.

He just walks forward without anything else's as he made it to the other door it moves backward making him appear in the same spot he was at or the beginning. "Strange this feel and looks like one of these horror movies I watch. Well, I have watched many of them know that f I walk backward I would appear right in front of it now" Cross said walking backward this time.

He slowly walks backward as he hears whispers of a child in his left ear. It sounds horrifying to some. "Look behind you" "Don't go further" "You will die" "Hahahaha" "Come closer" They whispered in his head. "Damn special effects. It's only an illusion ok just keep walking until you feel the wall behind you Cross just keep walking" He said getting right in front of the door and looking behind him. He sighs of relief seeing the door. He looks back and saw 3 children they look at him and smiled. "Well done" "Good for you" "Cya later," They said before disappearing.

Looking at the door Cross could only let go of the air he wasn't letting go. "Ok does wasn't some special effect haa hate this world already. What next spiders?" He said opening the door and stepping inside.

What he saw is a ring of an arena or a coliseum ring. The place was only lit up by torches having stone pillars everywhere. A wooden weapon rack and table filled with weapons were there. "Am I gonna fight in an arena? Or am I gonna be a gladiator? I did saw a sculpture of a rat on the door but what is this?" Cross said looking around. He lay down his backpack and take some food to eat. He got some fruit and meat from his backpack and started to eat it with a smile on his face. He already saw the note.

He got ready and fill his belly so as not to exhaust himself. He moves towards one of the tables and held the shield he saw close to him. Walking in the middle of the arena he breathes a mouthful of air before letting it out. He waited just in time to see a shadow to his left side closing on him. He cast a triple mana shield on himself and the item he was holding.

"This gonna be tricky! Hope I don't die too soon" Said Cross firing a mana blast in a certain direction before illuminating that part with a light spell. "Miss. Seeing the creature manage to dodge or move and avoided my spell would mean it will be a fast one"

He saw a small tint of light at the corner of his eyes and he quickly moves the shield in that direction completely shatering his triple mana shield on the Item he was using. He looks t it and saw three needle-like small claws stuck in it only a small part of it was destroyed.

Casting another mana shield in it he prepared himself for what to come. He started to look around to find a small or slight movement in the shadows or anything like that. "Where are you! Come on out! ha, How dumb am I? It's a beast damn it Cross thing"

Cross fired a mana blast in a certain direction hitting a stone pillar but he saw a tail or a shadow of it. he quickly places a light spell in that direction but saw nothing. He kept the slight spell there. "Too much mana drainage! If this goes on I would run out of mana before I could find that little fellow" He said taking a huge breath of air and releasing it. His eyes become sharper and more determined. (A/N: Cross has three gifts from the gods. First the talent in magic and voice element. Second quick thinking or thinker. Third of course calmed mind or what you call it will of a warrior)

Separating his legs to not get caught in each other Cross fires multiple mana blasts in every direction to just see the beast that is hiding in the shadow not be able to be reached by the light of the fire. In 10 meters around him, he saw the place was illuminated by a white blinding light. He cast a mana blast same with a light spell to find the beast.

He turns in 360 degrees around him and found the beast almost reaching the darkness again. he cast mana seeking a blast with 10 light spells to see the beast. But his eye contact was interrupted by five needle-like claws fearing his shield and scratching some of his body. Three of the five were stuck again on the Item he was holding two barely past him.

"Sneaky little b*st*rt" Casting another mana blast and enchanting his speed he case down the beast with a light spell surrounding him. "Come back here! Don't run away! IF YOUR A MAN OR BEAST MAN THAT HAS B*LLS TO SPEAK COME HERE!" Cross shouted.

The beast almost like hearing him turned around and enlarge his claws to that of 12 inches long and fired at Cross. He looks t the claws coming his way and dodge at the last moment. He fired multiple mana blasts at the creature and chase him down but he also kept his eyes calm always looking around if there is any hidden danger. Cross kept a distance of 8 meters always for safety measures and if the rat or claw rat ever did something a human would.

The sound of the explosion and stone being cut can be heard everywhere as the little claw rat chase for Cross who maintained a distance of 8 meters away from him. He fired multiple mana seeking blast keeping eye contact with the claw rat while having his moment enchanted.

"Finally...ha...ha got...ha...ha...you...ha...little...ha...fellow," Cross said walking near the claw rat but he fired multiple mana blast at it with his full power and full speed at it not wanting to see if it was alive or dead. They have been chasing each other for hours. Sometimes Cross would rest in the resting area thinking of a plan while the claw rat was frozen in time or seems like the time.

Blood splattered everywhere as its guts brain or others like bones splatter everywhere. Cross breathes a sigh of relief not even batting an eye for the blood all over him. "DONE IT, TEACHER!!!" Cross shouted before a platform in the middle of the room was seen. He walks up to it and saw a beautiful staff 6 fit tall has a dragon for its top with a core or seems like it from the book he read.

"Finally I can get out of here...ha...Hope I can get some food or at least a feast teacher" Cross said holding the staff tightly before raising it and bringing it down having darkness encircle him and teleport him somewhere. (A/N: Imagine him saying. "You shall not past" That is what he did)
