The beginning

Cold. That was all that Alex could feel. In his last few breath he remembered all about his life. His happiness and his struggles.

*Flashback*

Alex was alone and had to fend for himself since he was young. When he was only six year old he accidentally went into the shady part of a town. Eavesdropping on the wrong person, he almost got killed.

Luckily for him he was saved by a man. The man saving him didn't even knew he existed. He just needed to finish his mission as an assassin. Only after killing everyone, did he realised the little boy.

Alex thanked him and told him how he was the only hero in his sad life. The assassin didn't feel sad at all. Emotions weren't needed. All he thought of was that Alex could make him good money.

He was gonna sell Alex as a slave in a black market auction. That day fate smiled at Alex yet again. A rich and influential person who went to the auction took pity on him and bought him.

Alex thought his pitiful life was finally going to be over only for the man who bought him to treat him like a son. He cried smiling brightly. His body felt light as if something heavy got off him.

For years he enjoyed a life full of luxury and smiles until that day. The day his father died….

That was the only other time Alex cried ever since meeting his father. He locked himself up in his father's room refusing to leave.

The pictures of both of them smiling to one another made him cry even harder. While looking through the pictures, he saw one picture not really aligned to its frame.

He took the picture out to see a paper. He unfold it and began to read.

"My son, Alex, I'm sorry that I can't be with you for a much longer time. I'll miss all the times we had with each other. I love you Alex so so much. I just can't bear telling you about my illness and see you break down. You know I've done many bad things in life. That was why I was at the auction. When i saw you I wanted ignore your cries but my heart told me it was wrong. That was definitely the only good choice I made in life."

Alex turned the paper around to see it continuing.

"Truth be told I didn't know how to be a father. I just tried my best and seeing you smile so brightly like the sun made my day all the time. I hope you have a good life and become a good man unlike I was my Alex. Love, Father."

More tears came out of Alex's eyes staining the paper. His hand clenched the paper tightly. He smiled for the first time since his father death. He took his father's advice to his heart.

He came out of the room for once making all the maids relieved. He ate all the food given to him vowing to live life to the fullest. With all his money he donated to several charity to be the man his father wanted him to be.

He took control of his father's business and made it reach heights people thought wasn't possible. He had also managed to remove most of the corruption that was going on in his company.

At home, he relax by watching movies,tv shows, anime and ultraman. He hated how Scott acted. Scott think having the moral high ground is a good thing when it isn't. Something you have to kill no matter what and Scott no killing rule is just dumb.

Alex imagined himself in Scott position and wondered what would he do instead. He stopped thinking about it after a few minutes and head to bed.

The next morning he woke up and did his normal routine. However, when he was about to go home, he saw a little boy getting kidnapped. It reminded him of his past. His heart burning with flames of anger that even hell flames can't beat, he tried to help the boy.

He used the little martial art skills he had to defend himself and the boy. But his luck with fate seemed to end. The kidnapper got to push a knife through his stomach. Alex fell down. His vision blurry.

He could see the kidnapper run away at the sound of police sirens. Cold. That was all that Alex could feel.
