Chapter 28 'Amores Perros'

Nicole stood behind Elena and observed for a while, then turned and ran upstairs.

She knew there was something fishy about it, but Nicole didn't point it out. Nicole could bear it as long as Elena didn't go too far, but if Elena did, things would probably be different.

When Nicole got to the second floor, she went to the front, so she could pass Bob's room.

His door was still open. Nicole stopped subconsciously when she walked over here and saw that it hadn't closed yet. Her eyes swept toward it. When she saw Bob lying in bed reading a newspaper, Nicole's eyes flickered.

'Dad.'

When Bob heard this, his eyes went out and the newspaper in his hand was put down.

She didn’t know why, but Nicole felt that Bob seemed exhausted right now, and she just had this feeling inexplicably when she saw his face.

'Aww, reading newspaper again? Why can't you turn on the lights first? It's not good for your eyes if you turn off the lights like this.'
