"Mustering up my thoughts... What I know about the universe right now is... Humanity has been wiped out. Not because of 'the great collision', but because of continuous wars with their own inventions. F*#kin' idiots! How in the actual f*#ck did those robots managed to wipe all of us! Welp... Nevermind..."
Aerith thought to himself.
"I was chosen as some sort of experiment subject. I'll wake up after the great collision if the Earth survived... And so I did. According to this b1*ch, who's an alien, some sort of abnormal and supernatural force is keeping all of these ruins of various planets alive."
"I have to survive. I don't know anything else. I'll survive by leeching off on her... Because... Somehow... The whole universe is my enemy!"
As soon as Aerith finished arranging his thoughts, the 'alien b1*ch' closed up the distance between them and asked him,
"Uhm... Aerith? Do you have any questions?"
Aerith's veins popped out. Calming himself, he said,
"Yes. In fact so many that I'm afraid my brain will explode."
"Oh! Then be sure to ask them!"
She said.
"O-kay~ let's start with basic introductions then. You run a worldwide organization called 'the raiders'. That's good and all but... Uhm... You still haven't told me your name."
Aerith asked.
"Cynder Adel. My name is Cynder Adel. Pleased to meet you."
Cynder replied.
Aerith asked another question,
"Hmm... How are we able to communicate? How can we understand each other's language?"
Cynder said,
"It is also because of that unknown force. There is no reason behind it. It is just simply happening or occurring."
Aerith was a little bit uneasy with Cynder's words.
"Oh... Well then... According to my information... Humanity has long been wiped out from the Earth. Who are you guys to be exact? And... Why are you treating me like someone really really important?"
Cynder gulped and said,
"For that... I'll have to start from the beginning.
Tens of billions of years ago, when the universe got created, there lived a single 'ultimate lifeform'. He wielded the ultimate 'system'. However, soon he got bored by living in a vast and empty universe. That was the time when he decided to create us, in other words, 'aliens'.
Under his presence, we created you all, who were aliens in our eyes but were known as 'humans'. We wanted you all to know of our existence. We wanted the citizens of Milky Way to explore the stars of Andromeda.
That's why, some of us disguised as humans and blend into the society. You may know their names, it's been billions of years but their names became immortal.
Soon, when you all started fighting against your own inventions, the ultimate lifeform provided you guys with the same 'system' as ours. However, after humanity won the war against machines, they started fighting between themselves. This resulted in the division between the fraction of aliens.
You might be thinking that if the ultimate life form created the universe he would have prevented the two galaxies to collapse, right? But, he didn't realized his fault when he brought everything into action. And the time when he realized it, he was too old to be able to do anything.
Because of the approaching collision in almost four billion years, some aliens wanted to side with the humans, some wanted to destroy them. Everybody had different views.
At the end, the ultimate lifeform sacrificed himself. He decided to pass onto his system to one of the latest of the civilizations. And... That's how... You inherited his ULTIMATE ALIEN SYSTEM."
After processing all the information Aerith received from Cynder, Aerith was sweating lightly and the expression of tension was clearly visible at his face. He took a deep breath and said,
"So... What actually is 'my' role going to be in all of this?"
Cynder looked at Aerith carefully and said,
"First of all, we'll get to know the system."
Aerith was in no position to disagree to her. He unwillingly agreed and followed her orders. She ordered him,
"Aerith, look at this... STATUS!"
*DING!!!*
As Cynder shouted, a green coloured translucent, rectangular and small window appeared out of nowhere. Aerith remembered something, although vaguely. It was like a VR game he used to play as a child.
This window had some words jumbled in it. These were as follows:
«««««---»»»»»
This was the end of the so called 'status window' which is the most basic feature of a system.
Understanding the importance of the system, Aerith asked Cynder,
"Thats good and all... But what truly is my purpose?"
After thinking for a second, Cynder replied,
"I need you to recreate this universe from the dust. And for that purpose, you will have to reach max level. And to reach that, you will have to fulfill the requirements specified by the system in the form of 'quests'. I hope you will do that...right?!"
While thinking of a way to respond to her, Aerith thought,
"Now I get it... The other species want this system from me! If I have to survive... I have to keep getting stronger! And... Once I reach the level cap... I'll create a brand new universe where no one would be able to hurt me!"
Aerith smirked and replied to Cynder,
"Sure! Please take care of me from now on!"
