Today is the day wherein I will be fitting my gown at Vergel's abode. He insisted I should try on his creation so that he can make necessary alterations, if there is a need for any. My life these past few weeks involves flying from Cebu to Manila, back and forth. Needless to say, the engagement announcement party is just around the corner.

"What do you think of this, Chley?" Hyolyn showed me a picture of royal blue evening dress while we are on the car.

I glanced at her smartphone briefly. "That will look good on you,"

"Thanks! This is what I will wear to your engagement party," She excitedly informed. Hyolyn accompanied me today because she badly wants to see my gown first.

I stared blankly outside the car's window. As usual, today's heat is at its peak. Riding in an air-conditioned car is downright heavenly. Hyolyn and I are seated at the back.
