Acts of Service

"Girls, do you have an idea what a love language is?" I asked Molly and Gayle in the middle of our class in a low voice. This class is about to end anyway in three minutes. Why do I know that? I always look at my wrist watch from the very moment the professor steps inside the lecture room.

Gayle, who was jotting down notes earlier looked at me sideways and asked back, "What? Love language?" She whispered back. Thankfully, the bell rang which made us automatically put our things back in our respective bags. As fast as a lightning, we walked outside the lecture room to grab our snacks.

As usual, Gayle is in between Molly and I while walking down the hallway to the cafeteria. There are a lot of students walking around, some are flirting in the sidelines, not bothering the swarm of people around them. Some are running, maybe they are getting late for their next class. Yet here we are, casually walking because we do not have a class for the next one hour.
