Chapter 1

"Mal , how many times do you have to be kicked in order for you to be tamed?!" my mom scolded me. I just grin sheepishly at her letting her know that kicking me out from that trashy school doesn't even bothers me.

"When will you ever learn?!" she added. I just shrugged my shoulder while getting some bite with my burger.

"Hey honey , what happened?" my dad arrives and he soon give my mom a kiss on the forehead.

"Mal got kicked out" my mom said. I can see dissappointment on my dads eyes.. again.

"I guess we have no other choice but to send her off to Celestine's High" there were no hopes in his voice like he had no other choice.

"Celestine's what?" I asked curiously.

"Celestine's High , it's an All Girls School with a Dormitory" he replied.

I sighed before looking at them with a tearful eyes.

"S-so you'll gonna send me off there?" I try to act sad so they'll change their mind.

I mean , I am not ready for this. Living on my own , getting away from them. I didn't wish for this to happen!

"Mom , please?" I pleaded. But my dad's expression remains stoic so I guess my acting didn't worked out as planned.

Later that evening I refused to eat dinner since I overheard them earlier that they'll be sending me off tomorrow. I never get some sleep that night.

When morning came my eyes looked swollen but I didn't mind. My stuffs were all packed up and I am ready to go. I went down carrying my baggage. I could see my mom's sad eyes but I refuse to look at them any longer.

I was just silent throughout the ride. When they asked me questions I just answered them without throwing any glance. They can't blame me though.

A tall gate that's what I see when I look in front of the car.

"Mom where are we?" I couldn't help but asked her since I haven't seen this tall gate eversince.

"We just arrive at your school" before my mom utter a word my dad cut her off. I only gave him a nod.

There were two nuns at the front of the gate. So my dad parked the car and went out to go and talked to those two nuns.

"Who are they?"

"They'll gonna be your professor or your dean. So please Mal , do us a favor. Try to suppress your stubborness in this school" she pleaded.

I raised my brow at her and sighed.

"As if I got a choice" I sadly said.

I went out of the car while my mom took care of my stuffs. Dad leads me to the nuns.

"This is my daughter Mallory David" my dad introduce me to them. I just smile politely. I may be stubborn but I am not disrespectful especially those who serves God.

"Hi Mallory , I am Sister Olive the head of this school and this is Sister Dale your soon to be adviser" she uttered while offering me a handshake. I gladly took it without any doubt.

"Oh , I forgot this is my wife Dahlia" dad added. The nuns bow their head towards my moms direction and my mom do the same.

After the introduction we bid our goodbyes. I was totally sad while watching our car leaving the area.

"Let's go Mal , it's time for us to go inside." Sister Dale said as she helps me carry some of my stuffs.

"Are you okay with this?" Sister Olive asks.

"A-actually I'm not.. I'm not used on this kind of set up. I guess.. I guess I'll be missing them throughout the year" I sadly answered. I suppress my tears from falling.

A statue of a nun was all I see in the middle of a wide field. It's actually quite big that's why it was an attention seeker. I didn't even notice how tall the school buildings were.

We went into a white building. I was amaze how modernize the interior were. I mean it was actually looked creepy outside but the inside was so amazing.

I've met some of students in here. They were acting strange or maybe it's just me thinking that they were weird?.They didn't even bother greeting these two nuns beside me considering that they are the Dean and a Teacher of this school. And the silence is killing the hell out of me.

We got into an elevator then Sister Olive press the 13th floor. Wow , this school's dormitory is quite spacious. We waited for the elevator to stop at the 13th floor.

As the lift stops we went out. I just let myself follow them. Since they know where I should stay. We stop at the room 13th-E. The name of the room is quite weird. I thought it should be the same as the hotels but it's not.

Sister Olive opens the door and a very beautiful view meet my eyes. It was like I got a condo from a very expensive hotel. It was so lit.

I hurriedly went inside carrying my stuffs. It feels like I am starting to get used to this.

"If you want some help you can use the telephone at the counter. Just press the speed dial alright?" Sister Olive said. I just smile at her and nod politely.

"And if you don't know how to cook. You can just go downstairs and help yourself at the Cafeteria" Sister Dale added. I also nod at her. I'm just too tired to speak maybe because of my overwhelming excitement.

"We'll go ahead Mal. I hope you'll enjoy our school" they said in unison.

"Oh , I definitely will!"

They were quite impressed with my sudden change of the mood I guess. Since they felt earlier that being away from my parents makes me sad.

"It's nice seeing the excitement in your eyes. Welcome to the Celestine's Girl High Mallory David" they said before bidding their goobyes.

I guess this is where my independent life begins.
