An Eye Catcher

As Alan woke up in the familiar barren streets of the Eastern District, he felt a stinging pain on his cheek and went to touch it. As he touched his cheek he felt a sharp pain and he quickly pulled his hand away from it.

"Why does this hurt now?" Alan asked in wonder.

"Because you don't have an adrenaline rush at the moment~." Alice hummed.

"You're strangely happy." Alan stood up and looked at the night sky. The half-moon shined dimly as the city lights blocked most of the night sky. He then took a step forward and then stopped. "Umm...where did we find the corpse of Audrey?"

"In the Western District, that's all I remember," Alice responded with an odd tone that made Alan feel uneasy. "I'm more focused on the two enemies we have to fight."

"You mean the flail guy and the eye hunter?"

"Mmhmm." Alice paused while lost in thought. Alan waited for a while on the wall, sorting his thoughts as black markings appeared on his skin. Alice sighed as she spoke to Alan, "Don't call for me, I'll return when you are in danger."

"Huh?" Alan tilted his hand a little as Alice's presence faded from his mind. "Still mysterious despite my pleas." He then performed a few leg stretches. "To the Western District then. If I run, I'll make it in roughly an hour." He then took off running towards the central connections of the city.

~~~A~~~
Within the far eastern part of the Western District, stood two girls standing back to back against a creepy figure dressed in a bloodied silver outfit with silver dolls surrounding the area. The figure wore a silver mask but moved as if he was in full control rather than as if he was being controlled. Around his neck was a collection of eyeballs varying in color on a small chain piercing the sides of the eyes. He held a small sickle connected to a black chain that was wrapped tightly around his right wrist.
Across from the man stood Audrey and Mary standing their ground against their adversary with their guns in hand, panting heavily as they have been fighting for a while. The man's implant in his right arm then began to glow as he backed off from the fight. The silver dolls in the area then launched themselves at Audrey and Mary. Using the gun that Jason had given her, Audrey destroyed ten dolls before the dreadful clicking alerted her to her inevitable demise. She panicked and tried to grab another magazine but then realized that she had used all the ammo she was given. Audrey then tossed the gun at the silver doll and ran up and kicked it. The doll was sent flying as Audrey's neck began to glow a bright yellow whose shade resembled that of a canary bird.
Mary stood back with a slight hint of surprise as she watched sparks emit from Audrey. However, that look of surprise quickly changed to concern as black markings began to follow. Mary then ran up to Audrey and grabbed her by the hand and forced her out of the fight. The silver dolls gave pursuit as the masked made sat idly nearby.
"See what you did?" The man said in a cold, harsh, dry voice, "My prey got away." He spun his chain sickle around in irritation as he watched the girls disappear. "I see, so yall think the boy is headed here? Interesting…" He then stood up and walked over to the corpse belonging to a man in a silver mask missing his arm. He bent over and pulled out a small, sharp-edged scooper and placed it on the corpse's right eye. He then carefully gouged out the victim's eye and examined it. "As I thought, there is no harm in collecting these from the dead. Hmm? Oh yeah, I hear ya. My goal is to kill the girls and 'attempt' to capture the boy right?" The man then crushed the eye in his hand and dropped the remains. "Aright, I understand. But you WILL hold your end of the deal right?" The man then chuckled slightly as his implant stopped glowing. He then looked to the sky with a crazed smile, "A time traveler huh? How interesting."
At the same time, a few blocks away, Audrey and Mary once again found themselves cornered by silver dolls. The dolls circled the girls and they slowly moved forward. As the dolls moved closer Audrey spoke out to Mary.
"Do you trust me?" Mary said nothing and nodded. "Good." Then Audrey's neck began to shine as her eyes shined with determination. Mary then holstered her weapon and faced towards an empty house in the distance.
"There…"
"Okay." Audrey then performed a spin kick and launched Mary towards the empty house as the dolls launched themselves at them.
As the kick collided with Mary's back, she winced in pain as she flew over the army of dolls that were encasing them. She then landed in a nearby dumpster and leaped out, leaving a small trail of blood behind.
"Heh." Audrey turned back to face the dolls and began to fight back against them. She punched, kicked, and used her electric powers to keep the dolls at bay as they launched themselves at her. After a few minutes of an endless fight, the dolls then stopped moving, leaving Audrey panting heavily with cuts all over her body and blood stained her clothes.
"Heh...heh...what's wrong?" Audrey still had enough strength to mock her enemies. "Short on numbers…?" As she spoke those words, the sound of heavy footsteps flooded the area. "More!?" Her voice cracked.
"Well well well." A harsh voice echoed loudly.
Audrey turned towards the direction of the voice and spotted the same old man from earlier. The light vanished from her eyes as all hope was lost the second she saw his mask again. Audrey was in too much pain and was too exhausted to move. Her legs then gave out and she fell to the ground. She watched as the man came closer as she attempted to hide her fear from the man who was about to kill her.
"What a sweet face you got going on there." He stood in front of Audrey looking down at her. Audrey couldn't see through his mask, but he had a feeling that the old man had a creepy, sadist look as he towered her. He then crouched down in front of her and pulled out a small, sharp-edged scooper. "My apologies young lady, but I have a task to complete. Usually your type isn't my target, but as a father, I do what I must." He grabbed Audrey by the neck, ignoring the eclectic shocks as he brought the scooper closer to her eye. Audrey then grabbed a small silver dagger left behind by one of the silver dolls and attempted to stab the masked man.
"GET OFF OF ME-!?" In an instant, the man let go of her neck and pulled out his ball-chained sickle, and swiftly sliced the nerves around her right upper arm, causing her to drop the dagger. She held back the urge to scream as the man grabbed her neck once more.
"Never underestimate the speed of small weapons such as the kusarigama." He then shook his arm when the kusarigama's ball chain was located. "And never underestimate a doctor's precision with the human body." The man then brought the scooper closer to Audrey's right eye. She struggled in vain as the man gouged out her eye. After he finished, he dropped Audrey and she screamed in pain as she held her right eye socket in pain. Her blood flowed out of the socket at an alarming rate. The man ignored her and examined the eye. He then removed his mask slightly and wrapped his tongue around the eye, removing the blood. Audrey looked at the man with mixed feelings of fear, disgust, and rage as the man licked her eye as if it were a lollipop.
"Y-you c-creep! I'll...I'll...KILL YOU!!!" She shouted in rage as the black markings on her body began to thicken. Her remaining eye was locked on the old man as he placed her eye in a small plastic container. He then turned towards Audrey and pulled out his kusarigama and gave her a pitying look as his mask was still half off.
"I carefully did all of this so that you would live. How depressing." He shrugged his shoulders, "I show mercy and I get repaid with this. Fine then girl, let's dance!" The two ran at each other but the old man suddenly shifted directions as a large fireball flew at his face.
"..." Audrey fell to the ground as if she poured the last of her straight into that charge. She then tried to get up but found herself too weak to move her left arm. She then moved her head towards the old man and saw the last thing she had hoped to expect. Across from the old man stood Alan, with black markings covering his face. His eyes were bloodshot red as he wielded his large blade. Audrey then softly cursed at the masked man and blacked out.
