Camila

After we finished our food and everyone besides Nora, Liam, Noah, Alexander and I felt the restaurant, we decided to leave. Everyone paid for their own food and while the boys paid for their food Nora and I went to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and saw that I had a little stain on my shirt and I needed to get out.

"Girl! Are you and Alex talking?" Nora was being noisy as always.

"What are you talking about?" I was confused about why she would think that.

"I saw the two of you. Sitting together and playing with your phone…" It seemed like she had more to say but didn't.

"I don't know what you are talking about" Could she tell me that I liked him?

"Don't play dumb with me" She said teasing me. I started blushing and couldn't stop

"Okay, okay yes I like him but I can't read him. Sometimes I feel like he is trying to get close to me but I don't know if it's like friends or what."

"GIRRRRRL! I think that you should go for it!" She seemed happy but I could tell that she was a bit shocked at first. "I think that he might like you too."

"I don't know." and I really didn't.

"I think that you need to be more open about it and try to act normal around him."

"We should go back. They are waiting for us and we need to go if we want to make it to the movies." I was really trying to get out of this conversation.

"Okay okay but it's not the end of this. And like I said, I think that you should go for it." And then she grabbed on to my arm and started pulling me towards the car.

All the boys were already in the car waiting for us. I was about to just get in and sit beside Alexander. However Alexander had opened the door for me and waited until I was in. I thought about what Nora had said, about acting normal/natural and I think that it's time that I do that.

"So what movies are playing?" I asked Nora.

"Hold on let me look," she grabbed her phone and looked up what movies were playing at the movie theaters. "Joker (2019), The Lion King live version, or Toy Story 4. With one do you all want to watch?"

"I've been wanting to watch The Lion King." I have always loved the original Lion King and I was excited to hear that a live version was coming out.

"Me too!" Nora shouted.

"I guess that it's The Lion King." Liam said. Then he started driving faster to try to make it to the movie. We made it to the movie theater with enough time to get the tickets and snacks.

"Camila and Alex, you two should go get in line for the snacks and drinks, while we get the tickets." Nora said while getting in line for the tickets.

"Okay sounds good," I said "Come on Alexander, I'm ready to get some candy!" I always loved going to the movies.

"Okay, okay" Alexander said and then started laughing out of nowhere. I looked up at him and saw that he was smiling down at me. I started getting butterflies in my stomach but tried to act cool and myself. However, I was too excited about getting snacks at the movie. We walked in the build to get in line. I saw that there was a line that was really short and I didn't want anyone to get there before us, so I just grabbed Alexander's arm and started pulling him toward the line.

"Oooo I want an icee! Ooo and some chocolate!" I always got an icee when I went to the movies.

"I think that I'll get some popcorn. We can share it if you'd like. I can never finish it by myself." Alexander afforded me. And I kinda did want popcorn.

"That sounds great. What are you going to get to drink?" I asked him, so that I could order.

"Probably a small spirit," he said. After that the people that were in front of us finished ordering and it was our turn to order. And then that's when I realized that I was still holding on the his arm.

"How can I help you today?" the worker asked. I walked up to the counter and pretended that I hadn't just let go of his arm.

"We would like a medium size popcorn." I said. Then I turned around to ask Alexander, "Do you like butter on it?"

"Yeah I do," He said.

"With butter on it. I will take some kit-kats and a small coke icee and a small spirit." I finished our order. Lucky at that moment everyone else had appeared with our tickets. As they hand us our ticket and I tell them to order.

"Do you want to go find our seats while they order their snacks?" I looked us at Alexander

"Sure, we can get better seats!" I told him.

We walked over to the door for The Lion King and an older guy was standing there at a booth, "Tickets please." I handed him our tickets and walked in. "Okay, your row is the fifth one. Enjoy the movie." And with that Alexander and I walked in.

Maybe there weren't that many people there because it was a school night. I was actually really excited to be at the movie theater!! I loved watching movies and any type of movie. After Alexander and I had been sitting for over a minute the others walked in and sat down beside us.

"The movie was so good! But I still like the original Lion King better tho." I said. In my opinion all the originals were better. Even if they were old or cartoonish.

"It was still sad, I cried when Mufasa died." Nora said, pretending to be crying.

She wasn't wrong, so I went along with her and put on a sad face and said "Me too! I get too emotional when I watch movies." .

"Well it's six thirty and I need to get home soon," Noah said. I nodded my head in agreement.

"Same here," Alexander said. At that moment he looked down at his phone. It looked like he was waiting to get a text or call.

"Okay I'll drop off Camila first at the restaurant and then I'll drop you off, Alex." Liam knew that I would usually go to my mothers work after school.

"Sounds good to me. Mia is going to be there to get me." I said while Liam drove.

We pulled into the restaurant's parking lot and saw Mia's car. "Okay, guys! Thanks for the good time this afternoon. See you tomorrow at school!"

"Okay, bye." "See you" "Text you later." Noah, Liam, and Nora said to Camila. While Alexander gets out and holds the door for me. "I'll see you tomorrow, Alexander."

"Okay but I'll text you later today." Alexander said to me in a whisper. I wasn't expecting him to say that . And before I could say anything to him, he got in the car and waved goodbye. I had no idea what to do so I just waved back as the car drove away.
