On their way

Jake opened his eyes. He was in his room. The sun shined on him, indicating that it was morning. Yesterday, he killed a mysterious creature, and after that, he got a free technique and bought a sword. Three good things all in one day…..one evening!

To someone like Jake, with innate bad luck, such an experience was great, but also….terrifying.

It was widely known that after a day of good luck, you get a month of bad luck.

So, what did Jake do?

Of course, he sought to increase his strength! He dedicated his time to cultivating all night. He also studied his technique, not yet practicing it

While it might just be one night, one might never know the importance of one little night of cultivation.

It came as no surprise to Jake that he broke through two stages in a span of one night. There were a lot of factors that led to the rare occurrence.

One major one was the "grey energy" that Jake absorbed from the mysterious creature. While absorbing it, Jake felt that it was extremely pure and abundant, completely unlike any other he had absorbed. With quality like that, it was sure to cause a huge difference!

Jake was now at [Stage 3 Morning Dew Realm]!

He had opened a total of 35 spiritual, almost unearthing 50% of his Energy Pathway

Jake smiled as he was proud of his achievements.

He walked up to his window and took a whiff of the morning breeze, "Ahhhh!"

After a round of moaning and appreciating the perfect scenery, Jake took off his clothes and went to the bathroom.

Today, time was not on his side

.....

Twenty minutes later, Jake came out of his bathroom, mildly wet and naked.

On his well-defined body were multiple scars. They trailed down his back and his chest area. The most striking of them was a knife that went diagonally from his left breath to his hip. It didn't take a genius to know that the circumstances of the scar must have been terrifying.

Jake glanced at himself in the room mirror. He smiled as he admired his milky skin, abs, and scars, "Well, hello, beauty."

To him, the scars were something to be proud of. Plenty of times, he had had the chance to remove them, but he rejected them.

Even during his rebirth, when recreating his new body, he created his body with the exact scars of his previous body.

The scars were not just marks on his body. They were proof of all the battles he has gone through. All the hardship he has undergone. All wounds he had gotten were in his search of Perfection…...even some of them were self-inflicted to make the scars perfect.

Jake dried his wet hair with a towel. He picked up his underwear and wore it.

After drying his hair, Jake went to the drawer and opened it.

In it was a beautifully designed grey suit, the exact size of Jake. They were also perfectly black copper dress shoes beneath the hanged suit.

Jake closed his eyes as he saw the suit. The suit triggered some lost memories. He remembered his childhood days…...

As an adopted child of a King, Jake was taught to be very gentlemanly. On many occasions, he would wear suits, flash smiles, and compliment others, when there is nothing to compliment in them.

During his rebellious phase, Jake stopped wearing suits and wore his iconic dress style; a baggy shirt and joggers.

Now, many years later, he was going to wear a suit again.

Sighing mentally, Jake proceeded to wear the suit.

His movements at first were rigid, but as he continued to wear items of the suits, Jake's muscle remembered its old habit. He wore the suit quickly like someone who does that every day.

After knotting his tie, Jake left the room and went to the dining room, the required meetup.

...…

In the dining room, many teenagers paced around, rushing to and fro. Few of them wore suits and were dressed formally from head to toe.

"Jake, is he here?" Uncle Todd shouted as he started taking counts of the twenty representatives.

"Sir, Jake isn't here," Andrew replied.

"What is he doing? We barely have rough time left"

"I'm going to check--Ohh, I see him!" shouted Andrew.

He saw Jake walking to the dining room, and he was marveled at the sight of Jake, who was dressed in suits just like him.

The moment Jake walked into the room, poise and calm, he earned the gasps of almost everyone.

Jake's attire, while being almost the same as the rest, felt different. In it, he seemed like a natural-born noble.

Jake wore a clean shirt, buttoned up fully to support the elegant tie he was wearing. On the top of the shirt, he wore a chic vest with 6 buttons, it had a very narrow v-line, which allowed for a large portion of the top to remain visible, even if the suit's jacket is buttoned up.

The jacket perfectly wrapped around Jake. It had a solid color without a pattern which radiated finesse. The three buttons of his single-breasted jacket were all buttoned up, except for one, a subtle touch of nonchalance which worked perfectly.

The jacket was the same length all around, with vents on both sides, a pocket on each side, and a breast pocket that contained a card with a shooting star on it, the symbol of the Elliot noble house.

Jake's pants were the same dark grey as the jacket, but a slightly different pattern. Together with his jet-black shoes, they created a perfect balance.

To top it all off, he wore a sleek belt, accompanied by a watch…..and yes, the watch does tell time!

Wearing the suit, Jake instantly knew that the material was far more special than suits he had previously worn. He could stretch wide and it wouldn't tear.

'They were probably made from demon beast,' thought Jake.

Only materials gotten from demonic beasts could create such quality.

'Hmmm, it seems I am getting a lot of attention. Well, that's expected. I'm a perfect being, after all,' Jake was lost in his sea of self-love.

"Oh, there you are. Hurry up. Our carriage is waiting for us." Uncle Todd said.

He wore a black tuxedo and looked very noble as he directed the twenty well-dressed representatives to the carriage. Their next stop was the capital hall, the event venue of the celebration.
