A BEAUTIFUL CHANGE
As i took a good look at the scorpion, i realize that it looks kind of cute with those big beautiful jade like purple eyes which seems to make it look very attractive. I then remembered the system quest. And started to wondered why the system has not yet shown me any sign of its completion. I decided to live that for latter and try to see if the scorpion could understand me. but before I could communicated with the scorpion or initiate any form of interaction. I decided to check out my status to see what I got from killing the metal alligator.

As i reviewed my new strength, i came to a realization that the exp I got was not as much as I expected. I think it has to do with me not fighting it personally but only delivering the last strike, when i was almost lost in my thought, i quickly came back to my sense as I notice my fur and horn had became smoother which also made it look more beautiful than before. I became happy because even if I am a monster I still like to look good, especial after my encounter with those ugly hyenas.
As i push all that to the back of my mind for now, like I have been doing for all my problems so far and decided to concentrate on situation at hand . As I thought about it again, I think it's time to stop pushing my problems away and face them head on. I looked back at the scorpion, not knowing why it submitted to me after all the resistance it put up against the metal alligator. I decided to ask again just to be sure and also for the quest completion purpose.
" do you want to join me and be my partner ? if so nod your head up and down for YES or shake your head left and right for NO" immediately after I said that, i thought i was stupid for talking to a monster. but according to various books that I have read, some monsters are suppose to be very smart or highly intelligent right.
I then remembered the incident where I tried to befriend some ants and they attacked me instead. I stated to feel uneasy because if I don't get this monster to submit to me, I don't know where I can convince another monster before the quest expires, because even when it was about to die, it still fought back with all its might.
And I want that might
but just as I was starting to panic, i saw it nodded its head which both surprised me and made me happy .

i was happy because of the progress made so far in the quest, even if it's just a little, progress is still progress. after all those hardships i suffered. lady luck is finally on my side,....., wait i cannot let my family member go hungry can I, for some reason this thought kept coming to my mind again and again without my knowledge…... after taking one last look as the scorpion. I then left the purple scorpion, and for some unknown reason the tattoo or marking on my body started to glow it felt weird but at the same time comfortable.
when i got to the mental eater alligator i tried cutting it in half , it took me some time because of the hardiness of the scale. the work was all done buy my tails with great precision . i put one half in my storage and walked back to the scorpion and gave it one half.
I could see the markings on the scorpion glowing also and I felt like something was trying to form a connection with me to become closer. I did not know what this felling was or where it came from, it felt like the feeling of when you are in your happiest times and your best friend tries to hug you but is waiting for your permission. this was a new feeling for me.
