“We still don’t have any money,” Vic said softly, berating himself. “Of course I am glad you’re back, but we can’t do without money.” He promptly teleported away to find the Lost Warriors a paying job.
Lee shook his head and sighed. “That man has more motivation than the rest of us combined.”
“I can’t disagree with that,” Rani shrugged his shoulders and said. Vic was a responsible leader who continuously earned their respect over and over again each time.
The next morning, Vic hadn’t returned yet.
“Sometimes, it takes a couple of days for Vic to get a mission,” Lei told Ashur. “Especially if he is trying to find a high paying one.”
But by that afternoon, Vic teleported back to the campsite in the mountains, and the Lost Warriors cheered slightly for their leader.
Without wasting any time, Vic started to brief them on the details of their task.
