Chapter 11: Locked-in

Chapter 11: Locked-in

“Please get me out of here! General! You can’t keep me here forever!” I banged the door and punched it multiple times, but everything seemed futile because no one was coming to open the door for me.

Runi rushed to my side. “Young Lady! Young Lady, please stop punching the door. You are hurting your hands!” She restrained me by wrapping her arms around me.

“Get me out of here, Randall! Marcial, can you hear me from here? Anyone!” I kept on screaming until Runi could not take it anymore and cried too.

Runi’s cries always keeps me grounded. I always don’t want to see her cry. It’s a stab in my heart whenever I hear her weep.

So I stopped punching the doors. She released me right away. I gripped her arms. “Runi? Please let me punch the door rather than for us to rot in here!”

“Young Lady, we won’t rot in here!” Runi yelled back in between her sobs. She took my arms and lead me to the bed where we sat down.
