Chapter 17: Dal-uy Festival

The one who wasn’t able to steady herself was Runi who almost slipped from descending because just as I was thinking, the vehicle started speeding away without a warning.

Fortunately, Deputy Shan was able to catch her before she actually slipped to the ground. It seems so odd that Runi was getting clumsy around Deputy Shan because she’s usually mindful of her actions.

As we walked through the entrance of the Central Square, Deputy Shan cleared his throat.

“Gener—Randall, I would be right around the corner,” Deputy Shan announced his leave.

The General led me to the Square while Deputy Shan took his leave, taking Runi with him to roam around the park.

I was hesitant for Runi to leave me but then her reluctance to leave me alone with the General was overpowered with the Deputy’s insistence.

I watched her being led away by Deputy Shan. I pouted. I was now left alone with the General whom I don’t know how to talk to.
