Chapter 29: Locker Hallway
I just slammed my locker closed at the afternoon. I couldn’t bear to see them. I wanted to go home and never go to school anymore.
Before I could escape from the wrath, Elaine rushed to me with tears and angry sobs. I couldn’t say a word. I merely prepared myself for a slap on my face.
“You knew it!”! I am suddenly grateful that no one was around.
“What do you mean?” I started acting innocent.
“Don’t act like you don’t know anything.” She banged her hand at one of the lockers. “I thought you were my friend,” she said while sobbing. She throws the pictures on the ground. The pictures showed of Bryan and Desiree.
Then I start crying, I didn’t want to hold it back anymore.
“Look, I didn’t tell you because I don’t want you to be hurt!” I defended.
“The thing is, you didn’t tell me because you want me to look like a fool. You don’t want to tell me because you want to happen what happened between you and Stephen!” She shouted.
