“How are you Hailey?” Greg asked. He was playing some The Script music at the front porch steps.

“Aside from being the most hated girl in school, I’m lonely since Terence is also leaving to Australia for good.”

My brothers and I were hanging out by the front porch steps.

“Kevin told me that.” Trevor added.

“I hate goodbyes, actually,” Corey said, rolling his eyes. Corey seemed to have switched principles with Christine now. Christine used to be the tight one when it comes to sentiments, but she softened when she started dating Corey. Corey, on the other hand, seemed to be aloof with showing his emotions right now.

“At least he can still watch our big game this Tuesday.” Greg reminded me of the ticket that I inserted inside the pages of a Harry Potter book that I left lying at the living room.

“Speaking of the big game, who got a special V.I.P. here?” Greg asked. Everyone looks at me.
