"Well, today's the day," I told the heirs about today's meeting at dinner last night. I have to admit, I'm not looking forward to this. I'm sure all the heirs are going to put up some resistance, but Celeste is the one I'm most worried about. It isn't just because she's my daughter. It's not that her feelings are the most important in the group because I'm biased. It's her temper that I'm worried about. I'll be lucky if she doesn't throw chairs around the room. I head down to the kitchen to get some coffee, and Celeste is there pouring herself a cup already. "Well, good morning, sweetheart. Getting some coffee before we head to the conference room?"

"Morning, Daddy. Yeah, I need caffeine if I'm going to make it all the way through a council meeting without a nap."
