Gaze At The Wide Blue Sea

Hearing Chu Weixu's words, Ai Zhiyi said nothing and patiently waited for Chu Weixu to speak again.

"A female body was found twelve days after the incident, while a male body was found sixteen days later. After an autopsy, they were lovers who had committed suicide on this bridge."

Chu Weixu paused for a moment, took out a cigarette from his jacket pocket, then continued, "Why do love stories have to be so tragic? Why don't they run away and take a risk? At least, there's no harm in trying to survive by living because I'm sure that the afterlife isn't as good as they think."

Hearing the statements, Ai Zhiyi turned to Chu Weixu beside him, eyeing Chu Weixu who was smoking the cigarette on his finger with a frown. He wondered why Chu Weixu had suddenly become so emotional.

Ai Zhiyi snorted softly. "You say that as if you've explored the afterlife and conversed with the ferocious ghost that resides there. You sound very experienced in saying that."
