Gaze At The Wide Blue Sea

Age wasn't a yardstick to compare a person's feelings. Chu Baiyu had feelings and Chu Weixu had them too, only, how they responded to it was naturally different due to their mindset. But, children didn't understand the meaning of the word "suffering", while adults understand it very well. That's why adults were more burdened with their own feelings than children.

Chu Weixu cracked a smile, wrecking all the kindness on his face. How Chu Weixu expressed his feelings through that expression could be seen that he wasn't joking with the disappointment that was stifling his heart viciously.

He couldn't say anything more. Judging by Ai Zhiyi's gesture, Ai Zhiyi seemed to understand what he was saying. Only, he refused to acknowledge and stood on his decision. Also, Ai Zhiyi's unwell condition made Chu Weixu think several times about debating something with him.
