Chapter 52: A Warrior's Growth (part 1)

As the sun rose, Xue Fai woke up. He stretched and felt no pain in his body even though he went through hell and back yesterday. 

"Thirsty." He thought to himself. He grabbed his staff and went outside and saw a pond.

"This wasn't here before." He checked the water, sniffed it, and licked it.

'It's not poisonous." He concluded. He was about to drink the water and wash his face with it. But he noticed that there was no fish in the pond.

"Don't worry, Cho Myeong-Suk made this, so I'm sure it isn't poisonous." Xue Fai was startled by the woman's voice and tumbled down into the pond. He wiped his face and saw the woman that was with his master, the vice leader of the party, Midori Lionheart.

There were beads of sweat rolling down her face. She was holding a sword in her hand. Midori sat down and grabbed a canteen from her [Inventory]. She placed her canteen in the water. It began filling up slowly.
