Chapter 83: War (part 1)

It has been a tiring three days since the territory war started. Managing a territory is more jarring than I thought. First, we would need to satisfy the people's needs, like giving them shelter, food, and jobs. Then there's the problem of protecting the town from beasts and other enemies from different towns.

"I mean, why care about them? We're gonna leave once the territory wars are over, anyway." Wu Lei said.

"That's the thing. I'd feel incredibly guilty if I were to leave the town as is. We need to help them however way we can when we're still here." Liu Xu'er said.

I look at these two argue about if they fix the town or leave it as is. Xue Fai was writing a book about the strengths and weaknesses of the soldiers under his supervision. Wu Lei also has her own squad that she trains, but she's less diligent about it.
