Chapter 179: Age of Gods (part 1)

The blade of my sword sliced through the condensed mana ball in half, cleaving through it like wet paper. The two halves of the ball went past the sides of my face, grazing my ears, and crashed onto the trees, creating massive holes in them as they hit a hill behind it, turning it into dust with but a mere contact.

Her cute face showed signs of bewilderment, but soon it turned into rage as her divine aura sharply increased, signaling the other archangels. Then Gabriel shouted.

[Oh, a mere human dares to raise their blade against an archangel!]

Gabriel tried grabbing me by the neck, but I took a few steps back, evading her grasp, only to feel the temperature rise behind me, and static electricity washed over my entire body. Their combat power can't be compared to their selves in the present. The difference was like night and day.
