Takeru meets Hope

Takeru´s life passed by on him. And also the thought of being a hero. He felt hands reaching for him. This must have been death. For the split of a second everything was dark. Takeru Sarugaki's demise had begun. That's what he thought. Suddenly he found himself on top of a building. The boy was startled when he found himself in the arms of a young woman. He was saved by her. But how was that possible? Takeru stared perplexed at the blond-haired woman. He couldn´t find any words, but his rescuer said: "You don't have to be afraid anymore, my child, because the danger is over now. I'll defeat this villain and then everything will be fine! "Takeru's look was petrified. The woman set him down on the floor and jumped from the building. Her last words were: "Take care of yourself, little one!" Takeru wanted to reach for her, but his arms didn't move. After a few seconds he realized what was happening and freed himself from the paralysis. He sprinted to the edge of the building. The building stood a few meters from the train station away. You could still see the masked criminal on the ground. And suddenly the woman who had saved the boy was standing there too. Without a doubt, she was so fast, she must have teleported herself. Takeru was very concerned with superheroes and their powers. He was very knowledgeable about supernatural abilities. The boy was pretty sure that this woman had to be a superhero. He stared at what was happening below the building: people were screaming, there was panic, and two people stood there facing each other in the middle of everything, a heroine and a villain. It was just like a comic for Takeru. The masked man started making bombs again, one in the left hand and another in the right hand. His opponent prepared for an attack and clenched her fists. "How is she going to win against him with her bare fists?" Takeru thought. The guy with the bombs will kill her ..." The bombs were ready for use, the villain threw them with full force in the direction of the woman. However, she dodged the bombs skillfully. The masked man had predicted it and had a third bomb in his mouth. The blond-haired girl teleported herself behind her opponent, took the right hand out to strike, knocked the villain unconscious with one blow, then ripped the bomb out of his mouth and threw it into the air so that it could explode. No one was injured. Takeru was visibly delighted. He was dreaming in his own world. Takeru looked around briefly. At the other end of the roof was a door, through which someone could get down. The boy wanted to get down to thank his rescuer. But suddenly the door was opened. Three young men emerged. They all looked like hooligans. One of them started to laugh out loud: "What is this boy doing up here? Is that an intern? "Another added:" Who cares? This is the first time I see him. Tell me, what is a sucker like you doing on the roof of this bank? Don't you have anything better to do than hang around up here? Especially at this time? You have no life at all ... "Takeru took a deep breath to tell the three men the truth:" I was saved ... by a real hero. " The staff looked at him in confusion. They started laughing and made fun of Takeru's statement: "Superheroes? Where are we? In a comic or in a manga? " "Yes, and we're the bad guys, aren't we?" "Although ... if we knock you down like a nappy then we're the villains, aren't we? Haha." Takeru was frightened. He didn't like starting an argument or anything like that. He was often able to speak out with words in his life. However, from time to time older classmates were beating him up for that. What should he do now? Talking wouldn´t do it. They laughed at Takeru, insulted him, and looked down on him. They went up to the boy. The holligans got serious. One of them shouted: "If we should believe you then be a man and come over here. Face us! "Takeru's legs trembled and the three men came closer and closer to him. They pushed him further to the edge until the boy was standing on the edge." Either you apologize for trying to fool us, or you learn to fly! " I didn't lie to you, its the truth! You have to believe me! Please! " "Ts, you don't get it? You stand against us on purpose. Those who refuse to follow rules shall feel the consequences. Have a good flight!" One of the rowdies gave Takeru a whistle and a subsequent kick in the stomach so Takeru felt of the building. Was that his ending? How did he deserve it? Questions after questions were running in his head. Takeru now thought that everything must have been a dream. He closed his eyes and whispered softly: "If only I had been stronger ..." And again he felt the warm aura, hands clutching him. It happened again: the blond-haired woman had saved him a second time. And again they landed on the roof of the same building. The three young men were frightened. Takeru passed out. That heroine began to speak: "So you think what you're doing is the right thing? You should be ashamed of yourself. Our society is so corrupt because of people like you. And when the Spirits reappear, people like you become disgusting and selfish villains. Get out of here, or I'll hand you over to the police. "" Yo, did you see that? They just teleported up here. " "Yeah ... I think I inhaled too much this morning. Hey, I'll never do that again. " " Quick, let's get out of here ..." So the three hooligans ran away, full of fear and panic.

A few minutes passed. Takeru slowly woke up. He was still on the bank building. There he saw her, the heroine who had saved his life twice. The boy had many questions, but the woman got ahead of him: "You don't have to say anything. That was everyday life for me. I've been a superhero for years. Even if I haven't had a real mission in a long time..." " So they really exist. I knew it from the beginning!", Takeru marveled. "When I saved you, I felt it. You have courage, a lot of courage. I saw the look on your face. You are interested in heroes. I am the last hero of my generation…"

All the others have been wiped out, are retired, or have lost their powers. " "Wait, does that mean that there were once more superheroes? "In the past, a long time ago, there were heroes and villains.. Both sides were led by the spirits. In today's parlance, they are referred to as abilities. It's practically the powers of the individual heroes. For example, I have the ability "teleportation". You will have probably noticed that. For decades a scenario has been going on behind the scenes that sounds so surreal that it took me some time to understand it myself. There is one legend of a fabulous curse. In the war of the samurai, extraordinary powers were discovered for the first time: The "Meta-Spirits"! Body-independent powers that gave a person incredible abilities and strengthened one's own body. In a long war there was the struggle between good and evil. When all Meta-Spirit users were defeated, the war gradually ended and the supernatural powers vanished. Centuries later they were passed down orally and in writing. But one day the Meta-Spirits reappeared, and with them further forces. From the sparks of the meta-spirits those forces were formed that called themselves "spirits." My teleportation is also a spirit. The normal society has never seen anything of the Meta-Spirits and Spirits. However, the sightings of criminals and gangsters have been increasing for weeks. The crime rate is currently skyrocketing. It will happen: the Spirits will return again. And this time it will change the whole world. " Takeru was completely overwhelmed. He didn't know what to say. But he felt the courage and the urge to be a hero. So he straightened up and asked: "Can I become a hero who makes society a better place ...?" The heroine looked at him then smiled and replied: "My name is Hope, and I've been looking for you, holder of the red Meta-Spirit..."
