Arrogance!

I stared around at the crowd surrounding me. And, as a god, the first thing I had to do was declare my godly self as god! Wait... no. I would lose faith power if I do that.

"Not true. You may lose some believers, but it goes directly to you."

What goes directly to me?

"Faith power."

But, they already believe in me.

"Indirectly. You see, your facade has creat husks that powerful beings of each race have taken over. You are only getting as much power as they are from these people. The husks auto transfer some faith power to you, but energy is lost while going to you. Also, the husks have been taken over, so they are trying to stop the flow of faith power. They haven't succeeded completely, but they are getting close."

So, my main source of indefinite power is going to disappear?

"...yes."

....

"HEY!! I'm god."

Instantly, I was bombarded with criticism. It seems that they are devout believers of their gods.

"Leave this city, scoundrel. Otherwise, I'll kill you myself."

"I'd rather not. Arrogant mortal."

Heh. Watch me flex my power. I'm invincible in here. Right?

"As long as you have faith power."

Okie dokie then! I pulled my fist back as an intense aura slipped out. It slipped between my fingers and spread throughout a hundred mile radius. So, this is the power of faith in its natural habitat.

"The cultivation of these humans and other sentient beings here are lower than the other world."

Hmm, this is pretty high in the other world. How are the "gods" cultivation in this world?

"This. As strong as a single fist of yours."

Ehh, this is a weak world. Why didn't you guide them to be stronger?

"..."

It's time to teach them a lesson.
