Entanglement

        One day after a long day of work, Red came home to see she had 11 miss calls from her boyfriend of 11 years. Her phone had died while she was at work so she assumed he was worried about her but it turns out that wasn't the case. She called her boyfriend back who asked to meet with her for dinner at this hookah bar. Red agreed to the invitation and hurried to get dress; she couldn't decide on what to put on at first so she decided to try on her new red dress she bought. Red finally arrives at the hookah bar 30 minutes late and seen her boyfriend sitting at the table waiting on her. She arrives at the table and gives her man a hug and tries to go in for a kiss but he calmly rejects her. "What's wrong bae?" Red asks her boyfriend Jonathan. Jonathan tells her that they needed to talk but after they order their food first. Red says "ok" and decides to order her some of the restaurant famous spicy spinach dip and a chicken wrap. After they both order their food, Jonathan asks Red how was her day. Red looks at Jonathan and can tell something was up with him so she speaks up and say, "lets cut to the chase Jonathan." Jonathan then sighs and ask Red how long have she been seeing his brother's ex (Keon aka KJ). Alarmed by the question, Red nervously looks down and ask him how did he know about them. Jonathan tells Red that aint the point and tell her that word gets around quick. Red then admits to talking to to Keon behind his back but all they did was text and never hung out. Jonathan then tells Red that he didn't want her talking to him at all because he didn't trust that. Red then looks at Jonathan asking him why he got to be so insecure, all they do is talk about common TV shows they both liked and that they rarely even talk. Red then gets up and leaves angry that her boyfriend would even consider her cheating on him after all they've been through. As Red gets in her car and drives away, her phone starts to vibrate back to back and she looks down to see her boyfriend sending her multiple text messages. When Red arrives home she reads all the messages and see her boyfriend saying all kinds of disrespectful stuff about her. Red was so angry that her boyfriend would call her out her name like that over something so petty so Red tells her boyfriend to stop deflecting his insecurities on her and then blocks him. The next morning Red wakes up still thinking about the dispute her and her boyfriend got into last night so she decides to screenshot the messages between her and her boyfriend and send them to KJ out of spite and vented to him what happened. Kj tells Red that Jonathan was just jealous of their relationship and Red agrees. Red then tell Kj that he didn't have nothing to be jealous of cause they never discussed about hanging out or doing anything sexual. After that encounter Red and her boyfriend took a  three month break from each other. Red started conversing with Kj more which aided in her catching feelings for him. Red knew it was wrong to have feelings for her childhood friend ex so she tried her best to hide those feelings away from him. The more her and KJ were talking the stronger her feelings got, to the point she lost herself and subconsciously started being someone she wasn't. Red also knew KJ was a man whore so she was scared that he would hurt her if they stepped out of their platonic friendship. Red then stopped talking to KJ and made up with her boyfriend Jonathan. The three months that Red and her boyfriend had stop talking seem like it was well needed to reignite the passion between them cause their relationship had gotten alot better. But Red was soon to find out that Jonathan has been messing around with someone else during their break. Red started noticing Jonathan has been hanging around his friend Tay more often and it has gotten to the point where Jonathan would even invite Tay on their alone time. After feeling replaced by her boyfriend, Red decides to reconnect with KJ behind her boyfriend back but lil did she know, Tay was not only messing around with her boyfriend but also with KJ as well 🥴.
