chapter 11

A body pressed up against mine. "I am sorry if that made you uncomfortable." Kayla said kissing my head.

"I." I started. "I'm just tried of all the fighting Kayla." I tell her. "I just want to rest." I feel so exhausted as I am so emotionally drained that it hurt.

"I know I am so sorry." She whispered in my ear. "Do you want me to have zake shadow you and Jason to Jason's house we can bring his car to him."

"You would have to ask Jason." I said.

"Ask Jason what?" He asked from behind us.

"We were discussing having Zake take you two to your house and I will bring your car to your house." She said to him.

"You and Zake can take her to my house but I will drive home. I don't like people touching my car." He said.

"I need to grab my bag…" I said.

"I have your bag." Zake said from my right.

"Thank you." I said holding my hand out for it the strap was put into my hand and I stepped away from Kayla and shouldered my bag.

"Do I need to worry about the gun you keep pointed at the door?" Zake asked.

"Not if you shadow behind it." Jason said.

"I don't want to know about this gun." Dad sighed.

"Nope." Jason said.

Dad sighed. "Hugs then you can have your brother's boyfriend take you to his house." He tells me. I stepped towards his voice and he hugged me. "I'm sorry." He said.

"It's not your fault." I said as I stepped back three steps and arms wrapped around me.

"Zake." Kayla said as I heard Dad grumble.

"These idiots." He said before I felt we where pulled into the shadows.

"Well don't move till I disassemble the gun." Zake said a moment later. I can hear him work and the I hear him sigh."you can move now." He said.

"We are going to go lay down in the guest room." I said to him.

"Yea I'm probably going to go crash on his bed." He said, making me smile as I let Kayla lead me to the room and I sighed as she sat me on the bed. I pull off my shirt and pants before crawling under the blanket.

She chuckled and crawled beside me. "Sleep now my love." She said as I pressed my ear to her chest listening to her strong heartbeat. Letting the sound relax and take me to dream land.

I groaned as I came to not wanting to move from my warm cocoon.

"Morning love." She said, kissing my head.

"I don't want to." I said softly.

"Baby we gotta get up, we are out of school this week but we still have practice." She reminds me.

I groan as I press my face against her chest more. "What the fuck do you mean?" I heard Jason yelling. I sighed as my bubble has been popped.

"Come on before he hunts us down." I sighed as I went got up and got dressed.
