Chapter 15

Nicole pov.

I mutter as they practice and I blink as Jason sits on my left as Alister sits on my right. "Can I help you?" I asked them.

"Can I not sit next to you my Dear wife?" He asked me.

"Of course you can but you don't normally. You hang out with the guys." I said looking up at him.

"I will not argue that point." He agreed.

"Wait I thought you two were Dating?" Jason said.

"Cover story." I said as I typed.

"Makes sense." He said with a sigh. "So I have to ask how much for some of the nanotech that you gave my sister?" He asked me.

"Depends on what you want it for?" I asked him.

"Well, you know the family business." He sighed. "My team is the least covered team and with the Blackdaggers after us sometimes that is dangerous." He said.

I hummed and then set the glasses down. "Diana." I said as I looked at the bracelets on my arms.

"Yes, Mother?" She asked.

"Form knife." I said she did so and I passed it to him. "Would something like this work or where do you mean more of an armor-based thing?"

"I mean for some of us this would be good but then for others, an armor-based one would be better." He said and I hummed and looked up at Alister who raised an eye brow and shrugged he is never helping.

"Alright get your team here after the show Wednesday and I will start working on something. As for the price… I don't know yet." I said. "Though I will probably just ask for a meal since money isn't an issue." I shrugged.

"You Would give it to us freely for a meal?" He asked me.

"Lara is my best friend." I said looking at him. "Something I thought I would never find after Mickey died. So yes if I can keep her brother safe and those people that she cares about safe when doing one of the most dangerous jobs I have ever seen you can bet your ass it's probably just going to be something like a meal as payment for whatever it is I do."

"I'm sorry about your friend." He said.

"It was a long time ago." I said calmly as I started typing again. "However I do need to know how many of you there are in your team because I'm going to need to start making ais for the Nanobots."

"There are a total of six of us and the main group and then the Minion's but they're mostly Recon."

"Okay, so I need to make 6 AIs, possibly a 7th just to be sure I have what I need to cover everyone."

"Thank you." he said to me.

"Don't thank me yet I just want to make sure she doesn't lose her siblings as I did. And before you apologize for that it was longer than even I lost my best friend Mickey." I said changing the topic rather quickly. "So like with Lara's hers has the eye feature. Do we need to adopt anyone else's with something?"

"Not that I am aware of but I'm sure you can talk that out with the crew. Though I do know Roy will probably want something to do with his bow and arrows."

"Bows we can do arrows. I'm not a hundred percent sure what all we could work on with them because projectiles moving at fast speeds would especially like gun speed would cause the Nanobots to separate, kind of like buckshot. I'm sure that as an arrow we might be able to work something out maybe even if we have regular arrows filled with the Nanobots and have those Nanobots being able to do something we can definitely do like an electric shock. Or sleep agent like a tranquilizer, or if there's a big enough canister on the Arrow we can make enough to literally have the Nanobots in case either their legs or upper body like arms and upper body to make them unable to move but to do that they would need to be like I said decently long canister almost the same size as the arrow if not twice as thick as the arrow. And I'm not so sure how well that would shoot."

"Yeah, I can see the limitations there." Jason agreed with me.

"But I'm sure Roy can come up with some things that my Nanobots would be good for even if it's just one of those dispersal kinds of things to infect the Nanobots into someone else."

"Yeah yeah I can see him coming up with some stuff he could use this for."

"I also have some other tech that would be good for you guys you're The Outsiders you're dealing with people a lot like the Joker daily. So yeah I'm pretty sure I have some other tech that would help you guys out."

"Oh, how so?" He asked me.

"Well spinner here sometimes gets antsy staying here all the time so you could always borrow him and she is rather good at infiltration he's good at finding people good at tying people up he does have spider strings and can web somebody to a pole. I have others similar to him and I've got some other things that I've been working on and planning on sending with purple to get them interchanged because well I'm a paranoid bitch I guess it comes from running from My Shadow Demon for too long."

"I'm just glad that things dead." Alastair said as he leaned against me. "How do I still wish I could have killed him myself?"

"I'll tell you that however, the son of a bitch killed my mother and my sisters AND he took my eye. I had every right to kill the bastard when he attacked me for the third time."

"I'm not saying you didn't have the right my dear I was just saying I wish I could have had a hand in it." He tells me.

"Well, I can see why my sister likes you." He said to us. I blinked and I look at him.

"Why is that?" I asked him kind of offensively.

"Because you're not scared of her. cuz you're not letting your fear of her getting hurt override what you let her do. The girl can take all of our asses except for Papa and the supers and even half Soopers have issues with her. simply because she can out. But no one takes that into account except a small group of friends she has. She's smart you're Tech along with her other friends at her girlfriend's magic allow her to see even if it's not 100% if that video there is any saying that she saw."

"Even blind she gives Nic there Who is half werewolf half vampire a run for his money." Alistair said. "Even blind she gives me a Millenia Old Demon a run for my money. Your papa needs to get his head out of his ass."

"She's been sparring with you guys?" He asked us.

"Who else do you think she Spurs with?" Nik asked as he sat down next to us."You guys won't spar with her because you're scared. After all, she's blind. Her being blind I swear is more of a help than a hindrance for her. Even without the eyes or when she's in the mask and has the ability to see still kicks people's asses who have been at this a lot longer than her. She managed to get one up on Lucifer a few times and once or twice on Mitchell until he stopped sparring with her because she kept kicking his ass."

"Out of all of The Mortals I have met your sister, that's one of the few I can say I like. Lucifer said. I will deal with you and her siblings and parent since you all make her happy and she makes Dora happy."

"Well, that's good to know." Jason said. "I have pretty sure he's glad that he decided to sit on the other side of Alistair."

"You also simply just deal with the fact that if you tried to kill every human-like you secretly want to you are lovely wife would be moved to yet another dimension and very possibly you being kept from her." Alistair said to him.

"Must you remind me of that?" He asked him.

" Yes yes, I must." Alistair snorted.

"May I remind you that you sleep with a replica of a robotic replica of your dead wife." Lucifer said to him.

"Okay I'm going to stop you there Lucifer I am as much of the original Nicole as she is me she did create me to be her replacement so he wouldn't go batshit crazy again." I said calmly. "I am not a replica I am Nicole and if you want to pick a fight with me about it come at me about it, not at him. "

"I forgot how touchy you are on that subject." Lucifer said looking at me.

I glare at him and he shivered. "I would like to remind you that I have all of the memories from the past from the moment the implants were put into my neck to the point I died. I do not like thinking about that fact and we moved Dimensions to Simply remove this Factor so I am going to ask you to not bring it up again."
