Chapter 3 - EVIL SISTER

The cold, blistering wind whipped sternly against his long obsidian black hair as he dodged the large firey ash being blown from the burnt corpses.

Unknowing to him of the upending threat that had long been deprived of spiritual energy, he was venturing to.

"NEIGH!..."

The steady speed of his black bay equine's hoofs changed ferociously, venturing further away from the dead ruins of the village and onto a wide field of coquelicot grass which a gigantic Typhon-shaped statue inhabits.

"Halt!..."

He urgently ordered, raising his stiff-freezing hand into the air, inducing the synchronized marching of the many demons to quickly fade, leaving only the sound of the blizzardous wind in its wake.

The leather reins were replaced with his tightened grip on the saddle to help maintain balance as he climbed off his equine with ease.

"This is what we've been fighting for! Too long have we been enslaved by the false power of the kingdom. Too long have we endured injustice. And too long have we been deprived of our natural-born freedom.

That all ends now!

This will be the day that the Kingdom of Donsac falls and reforms. This will be the story that generations of our kind will hear and wor-!"

"SILENCE!..."

An immense shadow seeped over Caine and his army, blocking out the dimmed sun entirely as they stared in alarm.

"How dare you wake me from my slumber!"

The Typhon's body rapidly changed from rock and dust to flesh and meat as it released a black stream of fire from its mouth.

"PROTECT THE PRINCE!"

The demons veiled in front of Caine while casting a protection spell just in time to block the scorching black blaze.

"MOVE FORTH!"

Some of the other demons conjured their evil spirits, while others projected black holes.

"Do you really believe those little tricks can harm me?!"

The Typhon extended its height seemingly as if reaching into the sky as its shadow blanketed more of the land.

The thousands of snakes that resided in his hair divulged themselves...

"You burnt most of my land and now I'll burn you!"

Their slithering essences converted to indigo as preparations of blue flames ran through their body.

"SHIELDS!..." The prince shouted.

Blue flames disintegrated the evil spirits as they tried to attack it and every black hole that the demons conjured.

The soils and stones erupted from the ground as the Typhon clomped offensively upon the field, nearer to the nuisances that dared to venture onto its land.

Caine hastily ran to his equine and tenaciously grabbed his sigil-engraved bow, "Stupid mortal, do you think that will kill me?!"

The Typhon sneered, about to take another step, "it won't kill you, but it will very much hurt"

He aims two of the arrows straight into its left eye, causing the Typhon to stumble backward in alarm and pain, "ugh!"

"Bullseye..."

He exclaimed with a wide subtle smile and immediately the army of vicious demons pursued onto the field with loud shouts and their weapons clutched tightly within their hands...

"I demand you to release me!"

kaleidoscopic covered the interior walls, radiating an elegant and luxurious aspect as bright multi-colored orbs floated above the two figures' heads.

On a sigil-engraved sofa, Amir caressed the soft dark brown hair of his fiancé, prompting Atlas's emerald pupils to slightly overt in comfort.

"I lost control"

He shakily murmured, his emerald pupils quickly revealing tears while his clutch on Amir's clothes tightened, "I saw her again, she was here-its my fault-it-its-"

His soul mourned for his sister; his other half. Not a day went by when he didn't drift further away from reality into the dark abyss of his sister's absence

Every time he remembers that unfortunate moment all he sees is himself dying.

Elegant dark brown hair, comely emerald eyes, and natural light peach skin; clothed bloodily with a sumptuous lapis-colored gown. Pleading hopelessly for mercy, before being stabbed straight through her pounding heart.

That was all that scarred his mind.

"No. The fault isn't yours. It belongs to me."

"Uh?"

"Do you remember the first day of school?"

Amir's soft-delegate voice slowly altered to a more feminine but dark tone, permitting a mischievous grin to become visible upon his face; reminding Atlas of the sister's expression earlier on.

"You're not Amir!"

The tightened clutch on the figure's clothes loosened and became replaced with a million questions firmly gripping onto his mind.

"We strolled through the crowded halls-"

His tears abruptly seized as he forced his frail body from the figure's perfidious lap and onto the silk rug, where he immediately tried to stand before falling face-flat back onto the rug.

"What did you do to me?!"

Without giving an answer, the figure continues, "we were losers back then, but we were together; so it didn't matter to me."

"Atlin?..."

"Or so I told parents; remember?"

The form of his appearance starts to shift into a beautiful medium-height woman, who held a scar at the edge of her emerald eyes, "You-you died. How-how are you here?!"

The clinging of her shoes echoed throughout the room which was soon joined by the clicking of her tongue, "Brother-Brother-Brother; haven't you still learned not to underestimate me?"

"Where is Amir?!" he painfully exclaimed, giving another forceful attempt at standing; only to hit against the red silk rug; once again.

"Don't want to hurt yourself...like your absurd faincé" she sighed, releasing a loud-vain chuckle

"What did you do?!!!"

"You're soon to find out"

The clinging of her heels increase suddenly as her slow pace towards the wooden door diverted to her vulnerable brother, "what are yo-?!, Agh"

Her red-elegant dangerous heels clashed harmfully against his clear-innocent face, instantly rendering him unconscious on the red silk rug.

"As I said, you will find out soon"
