The contract

Mika took the paper and began to read what was written on it, she began to feel more at ease, she wasn't being forced to get married they were only to stay together for two years and if they felt like it they could further their relationship. She took the pen and signed the documents

"Are you Lucas Rawlings" Angel asked excitedly

"No I am the guy from the drug store" Lucas replied and rolled his eyes at her "Miss Anderson if you have nothing else to say I will be leaving now"

and with that he left

"He is so rude, luckily I only have to endure this for two years " Mika said

"What do you mean by that" Greg asked " I thought you two were getting married, I hope your not plotting something stupid"

Mika sighed and handed him her copy of the documents

Greg and Angel read through and stared at her with mixed emotions

"this is good right " Greg finally said "I mean at least you guys aren't getting married anymore"

"yh" Angel yelled

"why are you yelling " Mika asked

"because I am happy for you. I thought you were going to miss us but since you only have to go through this for two years why can't I tell out my joy"

Mika stared at her not knowing what to say to her

" We have known each other for over ten years but you never fail to surprise me with your level of stupidity " Mika said and rolled to the other side of the bed

"I will just ignore, your just mean"

The next day Mika was discharged from the hospital. Even though she was not fully recovered she still went to work. Greg had tried to make her stay home but she wouldn't and no one could stop her.

She came home earlier than usual, after all she had to pack her things and prepare to leave to her new home

After packing up she had dinner with her two best friends Greg and Angel and said goodbye

" you are acting like you are never going to ever see us again" Greg said and gave her a hug

"I am just going to miss you guys a lot " Mika replied

" Awwwwww, I am so touched " Angel said with her hand on her chest

Mika shook her head and drove off.

She got there a very late, the neighborhood was very beautiful you could tell that only rich people lived here. The villa was huge she had never been somewhere like this before and she couldn't believe that she was going to live here. The maids showed her to her bedroom. She quickly showered and changed into her nightgown

As she entered the room she saw a man lying in the bed reading a book, he looked so handsome. She recognized him, it was the man who brought in the documents he was Lucas Rawlings

"I'll take the couch " Mika said and walked to the couch

Lucas rolled his eyes and said "is it not obvious, where else did you think you where sleeping. "

Mika stopped and turned to look at him

" what do you mean by that" she asked

"I mean exactly what it meant. Do you not understand simple grammar or do you want me to give you an English lesson "

"No, I don't want an English lesson from an arrogant bastard like you"

" Then go to sleep and stop talking my ears may bleed if I hear your voice again "

"Why would you request for this stupid deal anyway if you were going to behave like this"

"request for this. Don't flatter yourself, my father was the one who brought this stupid idea I never wanted this" he said

"Well neither did I so stop acting like you're the only one being mistreated "

She was right, even though Lucas did not like this she too wasn't happy with the situation either but just had to bear with it so he had no reason to lash out on her

"And about the bed thing what do you mean by I 'had' to sleep on the couch " Mika aksed
