Chapter 4: The Party

'Hey guys!' Lyv told and hugged all of us.

She was wearing a floral off-shoulder crop top and matching shorts.

'Looking pretty.' I told. She beamed at me.

'You all are looking cool too!' She said smiling at us.

'Thanks.' We all replied

I smiled at her.

'Well come on we are playing a game. Lets go. And you dont drink alcohol right?' She asked looking at us.

I wanted to do it. I wanted to drink with her. It might be my first time, and I wanted it to be with her.

'No. But it's okay. I would like to try.' I said.

The others stared at me but agreed.

We all went and sat in the circle. They were playing Never Have I Ever. We started playing and all of them drank atleast once and I was the only one who never did anything cool in my life.

Then I had to ask.

'Never have I ever, had a crush on a person sitting in this circle.' I looked at Lyv but she was looking at Zed.

Almost everyone drank. I did too.

We played for sometime. Danced with others, I made so many new friends, a guy was crushing on Elyria. He was dancing closer to her. She didn't mind it. So I didn't bother her. I was sitting on the couch drinking when Lyv came and sat beside me.

'Hey. Why are you sitting here? Aren't you enjoying yourself?' She asked.

'Nothing like that. Its one of the best party I ever came to in my life. Just tired and no partner to dance.' I said and laughed a little.

She smiled too.

'Come on. Lets dance.' She told and pulled me up from the couch. It was a pop song. The beats were high. And I had too much of beer. We were dancing. And she was so close to me. We danced for a little while. We laughed. We had so much fun. She pulled my hand and took me out. We went to her back garden. No one was there. We went and sat on the bench that was there. The night breeze was cool. The stars were shining bright. Lyv looked really pretty. She was laughing. And her laugh made me smile. We spoke for some time.

'You are fun!' She told beaming at me. She was too much drunk.

'So are you!' I told looking at her.

'You know why I spoke to you, invited you to the party and sent you a ride?' She asked.

I shook my head.

'You look similar to a person that was once an important person in my life. He was everything to me. He was like you. The hair, eyes, face and the way you talk is mostly similar. But he died. We both were in the crash. I survived but he died. He saved me by giving up his life. And you dear Elliot, makes me remember him so much. He was my best friend, my first love and he was the one who knew the real me.' She was in tears.

'Hey, dont cry. I'm sorry you went through that. But I promise you, I am not going anywhere. I might not be the same person, but I'll make sure to treat you like him.' I hugged her tight. I felt she was more than a pretty face. She might be known as the Queen Bee, but she was an innocent and amazing person inside.

It was almost midnight.

'Lets head inside. It's almost Ronny's birthday.' I told and we walked inside.

They brought a huge cake and everyone came to the living room.

They started the countdown.

'Ten...nine...eight...seven...six...five...four...three...two...one...HAPPY BIRTHDAY RONNY!' We all screamed together.

He cut the cake and we are danced and played games for some time. We ate the cake and the party almost winded up. It was around 1.

We were leaving, when Lyv stopped us.

'Stay in tonight. We have extra rooms.' She told.

'Yes. You all can stay.' Ster told. The others nodded.

All the others seemed to agree. So I nodded too.

We went upstairs. They gave each of us a guest room. It was tidy. Brii took us to our rooms and I settled down on the bed. It was comfy. I removed my jacket, shoes and watch and kept it on the table. I scrolled down my phone for sometime before falling asleep.
