Delilah POV

"I feel like my heart is going to blow Rhea." "and why is that?" "Because my feelings cannot be controlled, its all over meeee." "Ok that's it, you need to get out, have some fun go to parties okay? now we are going to go shopping for clothes and whether you like it or not you're coming with me now get your lazy ass up wear your sneakers and lets go." " Rhea, I don't have any money remember." "yh I remember but that doesn't mean I don't have. Now lets go."

We have spent about four hours here maybe more and my legs are already numb but Rhea, she's been running around all day like her body was running on batteries. "Rhea please its enough now please lets go back to our dorm I can't feel my legs anymore I said almost crying. "I guess I've been shopping for quite a long time." I was overjoyed when she said that but my hope got shattered when she ended her sentence. "But we'll leave after this last store." my face literally fell I had no choice but to follow her. On reaching there it was a store filled with perfume bottles sluggishly walking behind her a little girl bumped into me and fell on her bottom. I instantly felt bad and picked her up when I did she had a mischievous look on her face more like cunning. "Hi sweety, what's your name i'm sowy for hitting you." her eyebrows furrowed at my way speaking but still she didn't say a word she just looked into my eyes but with a look of confusion which made me confused.

Avery POV

(Reminder Avery is the witch Alessandro planned to go meet.)

This lady, I could not believe it I hit her on purpose so she would carry me I turned to the form of a little girl immediately, but when she picked me up and spoke in such a voice it was then I knew I couldn't do what Alessandro had asked of me. There was something about her she wasn't just human, she was of another species. Resting my head on her shoulder to get access to the back of her head. Without her knowing, I placed my placed my hand of the back of her head and chanted a spell in my mind and to be honest I was amazed. According to her memories, she is the daughter of a very powerful lycan probably the lycan king at that time and human mother. Her memories were buried real deep by a very powerful witch one from my Clan I could feel the energy cause she is very much alive. She had so many abilities powers locked deep into her soul leaving as a mere human.

Tsk humans, weak things could die with just a flick of my finger. "Little girl, where are your parents you can't just hang to my shoulders can you?" I just jumped down from her hands and ran away. Immediately I stepped a foot into my house I could sense Aless and as I expected he was sitting in the farthest corner of my living room. "Aless where's my familiar?" "and how am I supposed to know where it is? i'm not some cat Keeper" he said while smirking "you very well know how you kept the first one ALEX! WHERE! IS! MY! FAMILIARR!." I was very angry and i'm very well sure my eyes were glowing but Aless being Aless wasn't fazed by any of it, it was like I was just putting on an act and he was the audience that started laughing he was f*****g laughing. "what am I? some cat keeper your cat should be by the kitchen window or something." "Kiska!" and just as I expected she came running into the living room. I looked to Alex and his face had become serious and while standing up slowly he said "I hope you've gotten the job done Avery." I shook my head and said while getting a piece of apple from the fridge "There's nothing I can do to her." I lied "She's not human my spells won't work on her." I half lied again I knew he'd be confused so I went on to be the annoying witch I was and asked him questions of which he knew I already knew the answers. "Aless?" "Hmn" "Of what species are you." I grinned but he couldn't see me and then just as I highly expected he gritted his teeth and said "Why the hell would you be asking such a question when you already know what I am and also how isn't she a human I can't smell a wolf on her and she doesn't smell sickly and dead like those disgusting immortals(Vamps)." "She's a lycan." and before I knew it he said rudely if I may add "I didn't know witches could lose their minds too" I explained to him how her father was a lycan and her mom human, how the witches buried every memory of her being lycan which made her human side dominant. "Then why couldn't I smell her wolf?" "She's being around the weak for too long so her wolf needs to be around its kind for it to re-appear in its true nature and form." "so what do we do now." "Definitely not whatever rubbish comes to that head of yours first." "Oh look its dark, and you know I never stay in a place for too long bye." I said waving my fingers childishly and turned into young rich woman with her cat, got into my car and drove. Aless knew what was going to happen to the apartment it was just an illusion.

(Two weeks after Delilah met Avery.)

Delilah POV

Stop! Please! No! Somebody help! Anyone!

and just as it was about bite me I woke up my bed soaked with my sweat and my pillow soaked with tears. I've been having these dreams since I met that little girl. I mean its been two weeks and i'm still not used too them, I mean we're not supposed to get used to nightmares but mine happen the exact same way, place, person and animal. It gets terrifying each time I dream of it. It starts off as me wandering in the forest trying to find out how I got there and suddenly out of nowhere a man definitely old enough to be my father bumps into me, I didn't even feel myself lose balance and before I knew it I was on the ground with a large midnight black wolf standing in front of me snapping and growling at my face still on the ground not wanting to make any sudden movement I started scooting backwards slowly while he was busy growling at me and once I was far away that was when the chase and the screaming began and just when it was about to bite me I always woke up. I haven't seen Aless in a while but Connor and I hung a lot and he even asked me out and I was worried at first cause of Aless but then I just thought i'd tell him that Connor and I were together and that i'd forgiven him maybe he'd change his way of thinking about me to just a friend. That reminded me he said he wanted to show me something today and he was really nervous about it which made me nervous. While thinking about what I was going to wear Connor's call came in. "hey babe." "Hi, please meet me at the forest behind the school building." "okay but I don't know what to wear." "wear something casual you know you look beautiful in anything you wear." I thank God he wasn't here I was blushing for Christ sake Jesus what has gotten into me.

Before I could reply, he already hung up so I just put on a crop and a high waisted jeans and went on my way to the forest, I must say I was quite surprised when I got there, nothing was set up and Asher was there I don't think i'm going to be comfortable with any these especially with Asher here. "Lilah about what I wanted to show please promise me you won't run, freak out or scream." his eyes showing intense worry. I scoffed then chuckled "Well I've seen a lot of weird and scary stuff especially my mum so how bad could it be go on show me." he nodded his head and said "Please step back a little bit." and as soon as I did he crouched down and put both his hands and knees on the ground and before I knew it I regretted what I said earlier it was that bad. Hair sprouted out of his arm and face, his nails turned into claws, fangs made their way through his gums and the length made me rub my neck and gulp. His shirt and jeans made a ripping sound and scattered as pieces to the ground I immediately gasped and covered my eyes but opened them when I heard Asher's deep chuckle still not looking Connor not wanting to add anything more terrify to what i'd already seen I opened my eyes and looked at him.

He just used his head to Gesture to Connor and when I looked he had fully transformed his legs where bent back just like an animal's own and he had freaking paws, he was as big as the ones in my dreams but this just wasn't a normal wolf it looked 10x larger than a regular wolf. I covered my mouth so I wouldn't scream but I couldn't promise not to run cause my heart ran a long time ago and I had to go along with it but before I could move a step Asher ran at me at inhumane speed, held me tight, sat me down by force and gestured for the wol- I mean Connor to come over and all of a sudden my heart returned and started beat really fast as he started moving closer and when he finally got to me he rested his large head on my lap at first I was thinking of ways to escape but as time passed by his looked so soft I couldn't resist so I started petting it. While I was stroking his ear, something snapped in my mind and suddenly I pinched his ear real hard I tried my best not to release it just from hearing him whine "Why didn't you try to at least prep me for this before you showed me do you know I almost died of heart failure in fact i'm leaving when that wolf brain of yours figures out why you couldn't prep me you know where my dorm." God i'm killing this I said in my mind and left, it truly was going to be hard keeping something like this a secret 'sigh' I wonder how he keeps up.
