Living in the truth is better than living in a world with lies and people wearing masks. They also force you to wear one and you will be one of those liars who pretend to be someone else. The truth is a good thing, even if it is ugly and bitter. Mila is living in the truth now. She didn't call the woman living with her grandma anymore; she is just Daisy. Daisy would have loved to be called mom. But to Mila, she was just Daisy. Mila saw the same people every day, same smiling faces, same birds, same cats.
