13- Unity

Logically Unity should've collected the kids and his husband and just left the place. But there was something weird about how his brother acted when he found out Slork was missing. He claimed it was just the trail but he added "It can lead to some...unwelcoming places."

The more Unity thought about it the more suspicious things looked. The way the waiter was frantic, what Vanity might've said had Unity not been present and how every member of the staff considered themselves 'lucky' to be working here. Like, it could've been worse? Unity knew that wasn't much to go off of, but he was too overcome with a desire to prove Vanity and Ghoul wrong to really see the lack of evidence.

A shrill, fearful voice crept up behind the king. "Your majesty!" Unity turned with a star and found the previously seen waiter messing with his collar. "Please, is that the plink?"
