CHAPTER 8: AGREEMENTS
CRYSTAL'S POV
Mother and father just came in to tell us we need to come home because there was someone tracking us down. I on the other hand have no problem, I miss home anyways and I wanna hug nanay Bella.
We're here in the room already packing our things to go back home. Melody is still a little pale from all the things that's been happening... I mean who would even think something like this would happen?
RING RING RING
Someone was calling so I answered it
"Hello? Who is this?"
"It's me Ax, I wAnted to ask you if you wanted to have coffee with me and have a little chat." he offered
" Uh... Yeah OK why not... After I go home I'll catch up with you there." I said and hanged the phone up.
We arrived around noon at home and found mom and dad sitting in the kitchen making lunch already... Hmmm the aroma filling the place and making me starve even more.
" It's a good thing your here, have lunch and take a rest, from now on I want you guys to always stay at home or else tell us where your going and what time your going to come home." father said preparing the dishes
"Nanay Bella will be the one to arrange your stuff, just place it there honey." mother said while cooking and putting the dish on a plate.
"Mother, by the way I'm going out to have coffee later with Ax if it's OK somewhere near here and anyways we're just gonna be there for and hour or so." I said while starting to eat
"OK sure why not but be back soon OK? Why don't you take your lil sister with you, she's looking paler then usual." mother said concerned written in her face
"You wanna come lil sis?"
"WH-what? Uh... No thanks... I think I'll just have a walk around the compound to get myself back together again.." she said rather spaced out.
She seems so spaced out lately and she hasn't been eating much since we ran away from home and started distancing ourselves from everyone.
To be honest I saw a lot of improvements with Melody, she seems to get along with people now and maybe going back to her little comfort zone before has caused her to react in a sad way. I mean who wouldn't want to have friends after a long time fo just staying in a room right?

I looked around and found Ax in a near by table looking out the window and came up to him. He stood up when he saw me and we greeted each other
"Hi Tal, you look beautiful today, its good to know you came I thought you wouldn't show up." he said and pulled a chair for me
"Why wouldn't I show up? It's been so long since I talked to you too... And the others..." I said sadly
"Yeah I noticed that this past few weeks... Why what happened?"
I explained to him finally what has been going on and he was shocked and he went into protective mode immediately, he even scolded me for not telling him.
"Why didn't you tell me Crystal Virtuoso?!" he looked mad at me but I know he was concerned
"Well because I thought the less the people around us know the less they will be in danger and anyways come on, admit it if I told the others the person behind all of this might give you guys death threats too."
"Plus we aren't that close yet remember." I rolled my eyes at him because he was staring at me so intentivly
"OK ok fine you have a point but if you told me I could have protected you idiot." he said and hit me on the forehead.
"Ow! That was painful! Tsk, and what's with the call sign idiot huh?" I glared at him
"Pfftt.... You look so cute when your mad." he said while drinking his iced cupaccino
I blushed while looking at him and we continued talking for the next 20 mins when his mother called in.
"Hey mom what's up."
"Hi honey, how are you, where are you by the way I want you to buy some stuff for dinner tonight."
"Uh yeah mom I'm with Crystal at a Coffee shop near there place, but yeah we'll finish this up now and I'll just bring her home then get all the things you need."
"Oh, your with Crystal? The girl your inlove with right?" she said rather teasingly and I saw Axel burning red from embarrassment while I laughed
"Mom.... Stop it...."
" Oh darling there's nothing wrong with that, now why don't we invite her and her parents over for dinner tonight honey, isn't that a good idea? Maybe we'll talk over dinner about our proposal to them too, what do you think?"
Ax looked at me and I looked back
" Uh... I'll ask my mom and dad first... But it is a good idea. " I said back
" OK no problem honey, no need to rush call me back for an update. " she said and hanged the phone up.
I immediately called mom and dad and explained to them what Ax's mom said in our conversation, they said it'll be a good Idea and they'll be there.
I was excited and so was Ax, this is the first time I'll ever be able to come over to his house, he drove me back home and I took a shower and prepared the things I needed.

Melody's POV
It isn't easy this past few days for me, I've been having nightmares and sometimes I just wake up in the middle of the night crying, all this stress is reaching my limit and I have no one to express it too.
I walked around the compound hoping for some fresh air when I bumped into someone running.
"Ow..."
"Oh sorry I didn't mean to I- Melody? It's so good to see you, your really the one I was hoping to see." he said and smiled
"Wh-why? Is there something wrong?" I asked sheepishly
" Yeah and it's you, we need to talk Melody Virtuoso."
He pulled my hand to a nearby bench and made me sit down next to him.
"Now, you better tell me what's going on with you, seriously Melody we're your friends, we have your back at all times you can always count on us OK?"
" I-I can't tell you... It's better you don't know anything at all." I said and looked at another direction
" You always have me... You know, I've been observing you, you aren't yourself, I know your heart is bursting to let the pain out this past few weeks, so please... Let it out it won't do any better if you keep it to yourself."
"I know... I know.. I don't know where to start I just wanna escape. Please take me away from here." I pleaded
"Well, I'm going to my home town later, Pangasinan it's supposed to be me and Zeki but he had something else to do, do you wanna come with me? I mean... Only if you want to, we'll ask your parents permission."
"OK sure I'll ask them, I don't know if they'll allow me but I'll do my best to come, that's for sure."
"Ah OK... Yu better get ready I'll meet you at the airport around 10pm catch you there ok?"
"Sure see you." we hugged each other tapos parted ways, I need to be careful that they won't know I'm leaving tonight, because one thing I know of is that they will never allow me to go anywhere by myself.

DINNER :
Harmony's POV
"Honey are you ready? It's nearly 8 and I don't wanna be late for the dinner meeting."
"I'll be there in a jiffy just wait a little while darling, I'm coming and anyways it's only dinner not a meeting baby." Luis said from afar
"Well you know their gonna bring up the contract right? So basically it's gonna be a business meeting nevertheless."
I faced him and arranged his neck tie while he tucked my hair back.
"Shouldn't we bring Melody with us? I mean it's safer isn't it." he asked me
"Well, she said she doesn't wanna come and it's getting late if we wait for her any longer we're gonna make a unfortunate arrival, and I don't wanna make a fuss."
"Well, your right, nanay Bella is with her anyways she'll be fine."
I rummaged for my purse in my cupboard and went downstairs along with Luis, such a man of masculinity.
"Honey darling, your father and I are gonna go to dinner with your Ate's well... Ex boyfriend is it? Yes let's put it that way, his parents. We'll be back around 10 or 11, nanay Bella will keep an eye on you so behave. We love you and take care." I kissed her on the forehead
" OK mom and dad see you again sometime. "
It's weird how she said it but I just shrugged my shoulders and turned to the door.
A little later we arrived at such a grand place, the interior designs of the house are wonderfully made and looks simple but elegant with a touch.
As we went inside we found ourselves guided by a few maids to the dining area where Crystal and her ex boyfriend together with his brother is sitting together with his parents and just then the clock strike 8, just in time.
"Well good evening how are you? Its such a pleasure to meet you now isn't it." Thalia greeted us
"Just in time for dinner" Hiro added.
The food was prepared and we chatted for a little while until the contract was brought up.
"Now, Luis and Harmony, have you guys thought of the contract yet? Hiro brought up
Luis and I looked at each other with an expression of blankness, obviously we've thought about it but haven't had the slightest idea what desicions we had made about it.
" Well... To be honest erm.. Yeah we have but unfortunately we haven't... Had the chance to really think about what desicion suits it best for us." Luis replied
"Well, the contract is easy, talking back about the loans rumored in your company and the big scandal about the broker is it? If you give us your shares we'll help you to expand it in a faster and easier way, within less then a few months you will be able to return what you lost and get your company up and going again. " Hiro explained with persuasion
" Well... Only if you wanted too. " added Thalia eyeing is sternly fingers together.
Luis and I looked at each other once more, obviously this is a very big offer and rather risky, because if we do we will be kicked out of the company without a second glance by the shareholders of the company. Especially if so speaking Thalia and Hiro gets us kicked out whenever they please.
"We'll give you a few moments to speak to one another if you like more time. We'll be in the pool area if you've made up your mind. Come now Crystal, Ax and Luke." gestured Thalia and left us together thoughts racing.
"So.... Honey... What do you think? I mean if we accept it our shares will completely go down to them if they so pleased they can get us kicked out of our own company." I said
"Yeah but honey I'm sure they won't do that and besides if we do take the contract we'll be able to pay our buyers the money they loss and our loans will be paid within a few months and everything will get back to normal. And besides they'll stop giving us death threats and the kids will be safer " he replied
" And how are you so sure that will happen mister? We barely even know them that well yet and in doing so we might get our selves in even more danger" I retorted back
"Darling, I'd better lose everything than have our little angels suffer or worse lose them in not doing so. Please... Come on honey... Think of the kids."
"Agh... I don't know Luis..." I was frustrated nevertheless of how things were going and how messed up things were. We've dedicated our lives to this and everything is at cost. I thought a bit more my mind racing.
"Aghhh... All right... All right Luis fine. But if something happens I will seriously blame this on you." I glared at him.
"And if not I'll be the one telling you I told you so." he smiled a teasing smile to sooth what I felt and kiss me on the forehead. Huh, this man really knows how to calm me down.
We walked to the pool area and found Crystal and Ax in the corner with their feet in the water laughing. While on the other side was Thalia and Hiro drinking wine with their other son on the computer.
"Thalia... Hiro.... We've made a desicion..." I called out to them
"Well that's fantastic what may it be."
"We've decided to accept the contract..." Luis replied.
"OK that's great! I'll get the contract just wait here! Fantastic!" Thalia quickly stood up and rushed to the drawer in the living room to get the contract.
"Now, where is it... Yes here it is. Right here just sign here... Here and... Here, oh and also here. Then it'll be done!" she smiled broadly and we signed the Contract with shaking hands.
"Well.... That's done then... We'll Be getting our shares and transferring it to you by tomorrow morning I guess." Luis chuckled. We all shook hands and seems to make a desicion it's time to go home.
We brought Crystal with us since it's getting late and arrived home sweet and sound. I really do hope this will be a good idea, because if not I think I'm going to go crazy....
