CHAPTER 12: INCAPTIVITY PT 2
I took big breaths and did my best to calm down... I at the very least if estimate things... 15 mins walk from Mcdo, since it's nearly dinner I'm sure there's a lot of people 10 mins of waiting in line.. Then 5 mins of wait for the order to come... And 15 mins back that would all together get me... 45 mins in all... I wasted already about 8 mins now so I have to do this quick.
"K-kuya... C-can I go to the restroom please? Do you guys have a restroom?"
"Huh? Am I the one you're asking?"
Damn he's an idiot... Who else would I be talking to except him
"Yes you it'd be weird if I talked to the wall wouldn't it."
"Tsk pilosopher. No. There isn't a bathroom here."
"Please kuya... My appendix is going to explode... I was going to go to the bathroom before you guys kidnapped me you know but now I can't can I? . If you don't let me go to the bathroom.. Pfft your boss is seriously gonna scold you, him finding out you made me pee here won't he get mad. "
" There is no bathroom here OK? Can't you understand."
"Eh... I'll be quick I promise. ."
"5 mins... Here, just pee in this bucket I'll turn around. Don't even think of running away or I'll shoot you."
Finally! He slowly cut the rope from my hands and took my blind fold off. Aghhh the light hurts my eyes... 10 mins wasted 27 mins left... Damn will I get through this... He gave me the bucket and he walked a little further away from me and turned his back.
"Kuya.. Cna you.. Can you go a little farther away I feel awkward you hearing it..."
"OK ok. There's a napkin you can use there to wipe your thing so you won't make a mess."
"T-thanks.."
He took a few more steps farther away from me and I moved the bucket making him think I was already sitting on it. I slowly took my shoes off and walked backwards looking behind just incase I bumped into something that could take me off guard. I only have 5 mins to pretend nature called me. And as soon as I saw the coast was clear I felt my feet run as fast as it could like I was in a marathon.
Damn it this place is huge.. What is this warehouse. Ang daming pa sikot sikot. This place is like a labrynth.. I don't think I can make it... Suddenly from not far I hear his scream of anger
"WHERE ARE YOU WOMEN! I TOLD YOU NOT TO RUN! I WARNED YOU SO NOW YOU BETTER GET READY FOR YOUR LIFE"
Damn it.. My times up.. Where should I go... Left... Right... Damn a dead end... Calm down Melody... Calm down... I couldn't think of anything else but to get out of here ... Right... Right... Left... Straight... Damn it faster Melody you can do this... Right.. Le- I halted when I suddenly saw a window not far from where I was standing. Jackpot! I don't know where this is going to get me but I have no choice... My guardian angel please look after me and give me this escape... I slowly opened the window big enough for me to go through... I peeked and found it was deserted and seemed to be in a woodlike place.. Well.. Now is the chance.
BANG BANG BANG
I turned hearing the sound and saw the both of them finally finding me. Damn these guys are fast... I sprinted into the woods with them trying to climb over the window to run after me. Which is north and south... Where are you... I looked for spiders and saw them making their webs in the other direction.. South there you are and ran straight to the other direction which has to be north. They say wherever you are always go north especially when your lost.. Hopefully this will work this had better be right... Hopefully or maybe I just don't know what to do..
"MELODY!" damn it now there's 3 of them... I hid behind a big tree. Damn...
Ate help me... Please I need you... I started sobbing silently now I couldn't help it anymore. I could only hear their footsteps getting closer.. I could feel my heart beating to the rhythm of their steps... Closer and closer.. I knew I had to be at the ready. And just when I turned around I grabbed the gun of the other and twisted his wrist and punched him. Self defence is the only thing I could do now. The other grabbed me by the back I hit my head on his and kicked the other in front of me, two down the other...he's strong... Really strong...
"Melody I suggest you not to fight back, your only gonna hurt yourself."
"I'm going to fight when I want to fight. Don't try me I know taekwondo."
"And I know taekwondo, jitsu and karate. Don't try me either."
Damn... That just killed the little hope in me left..damn it I can do this... I hit him first, with him swerving to avoid my punch and he took my arm and twisted it. Aghhh that hurts.. I punched him with my free hand straight on the nose and he let go of my hand giving me the chance to ran when I fell face forward. Damn you! He grabbed me by the ankles and pulled me closer to him with him ontop of me pinning my hands and feet with his body locking our eyes and the world slowed for a few minutes.
"Let go of me whoever you are!"
"My job is to get you captured and put you back in the warehouse before our boss arrives tomorrow morning so you better stop this nonsense Melody."
"Nonsense?! Dude you freaking kidnapped me and you think I should just stay calm?! What do you want me to do laugh my fear out? HAHAHA Oh my gawd you kidnapped me! I'm so happy hahahaha yay! This is a lifetime opportunity!" I retorted sarcastically
"Tsk. Your such a sarcastic person."
"Well what do you want me to do huh?"
I glared at him and he glared back I couldn't see the color of his eyes properly because of the darkness that's surrounding us but I knew his eyes were ravishing. His stare was different... A lot different with his bushy eyesbrows visible from the mask he was using.
"Can you get off of me now. You know you're heavy."
"Tsk I'm not even putting my weight on you brat."
"Jerk." and he lifted me in a bridal style
"What the! Let me down!"
"Nope, and if you dare move I'll drop you on a stone so your head cracks and you'll never see your family again."
I didn't have another choice he gripped my arms so tight and we left the two other men now awake from being unconscious. He dropped me on the floor to where we started again he didn't take his mask off but he did take his shirt off showing his skinny but masculine body and wiped the drops of sweat on his back and chest. Of course he tied me again but with hand cuffs this time, at least it isn't as tight as the first rope.
"Your hands are bleeding. You tried forcing yourself from the ropes didn't you?"
"Yeah. You did those ropes? It would be a miracle if the other two did it with the ropes tied in a traditional way."
"Yeah, good guess. You have good fighting skills but not quick enough, later I'll take you to a proper comfort room and don't think about going out the window because there are no windows in the bathroom here. I'll be the one feeding you your food, hope your not the picky type. "he said while unwrapping the food from the paper bag.
The other two came in and sat down getting the first aid from a cabinet near by.
" LD, DD wear your masks. " sita niya.
" You know I know their names. Lando and Dodong, you should tell them next time not to say their name out loud in front of their victim. If their LD and DD then you should be B. E Am I right? "
" Your a smart girl. But anyways, back to where we were. Here eat your food. " he placed the spoon in front of me with rice and some chicken
" This is... Awkward. Can't you just uncuff me?. "
" You're gonna eat or I'm gonna make you sleep. "he said seriously
" OK ok fine I'm going to eat. " I said and opened my mouth." Wa-wait...Can you.. Put more ketchup on the chicken?Hmm... "
" I didn't know you were demanding. You don't look hungry Dont you. " and he smirked
" Of course that's food. Aren't you gonna eat? " I said while eating the food he gave me again
"Later.. If you're alseep."
I ate in silent and he kept feeding me, the other two ate there food while staring at us and talking quietly.
"Why are you being kind?" I said out of the blue.
"Hmm? Kind. Tsk I'm not kind ok. This is just my job to feed you and look after you while we wait for the money."
"No.. I can feel it... I can really feel your a good person. Because if not you wouldn't be talking to me right now, and second you'd be irritated by the way I talk so much."
"Tsk think what you wanna think. Just eat brat. Be quick, then I'll lead you to the comfort room so you don't do a pile of mess."
*Hours went by and Melody fell asleep while Brylle placed her blindfold back on her and removed his mask. He ate while staring at her and thought of the fight they went through... He thought she was a good fighter and seemed to admire her. But that of course would never happen for he is just a bad guy and she? Well she's an angel in his mind.

CRYSTAL'S POV
"Hey Aid. How are you. Are you OK?" I asked while we drank our coffee
He seemed spaced out.. Unable to speak like he's not himself anymore.
"Hu-huh? Ah... Yeah I'm.. I'm fine. And you? What is it you wanted us to talk about."
"Oh right, uhm it's about Melody. We all know that she was kidnapped. Now we need to find a much advance tech for when the kidnapper calls so we can trace their location and get Melody to safety maybe even a little earlier... Kuya Val can do that... But the prob is.. The money.. 2 million pesos... He can't give money anymore because if the clients find out he's involved in such things they might back out... We really need that money, it's the only thing left... "
" W-well about that I can't hel you.... Well we have friends we can borrow from, Aaron,Kei and Zeki to be exact. "
" You think they'd help us? But the more you guys know the more dangerous it could be for all of you... "
" At least we're all in it together "
" You have a point... Uhmm Aid how was Melody when you guys were together? "
" Well, Melody... She gets irritated like always, she's very quiet but after a while she opened up. She smiled a lot, she almost didn't want to come back to be honest... She got closer to my family and siblings... She's just... Majestic... In every way. " he said now smiling
I could see his eyes sparkle when he talked about Melody... Even if I was worried about her, I calmed down a bit knowing that even for a while her problems disappeared.
" I think we should go. Let's go meet Aaron, kei and Zeki.. I call them and the rest of the squad.." Aid said
It's been a while since we all saw each other it's a good thing it's still vacation... We still have a week before school but we don't know if we'd be able to continue in this type of situation. We drove a couple of hours to Matina where they lived. The squad is already there, I was amazed by how big their house was. You could have a party for hundreds of people if you wanted to... It was a foreign designed house with balconies and it was full of beautiful flowers too.
"Crystal! Aid! How are you? Where's Melody?" Aaron greeted
"Ah actually that's exactly why we're here... We need your help..ASAP." Aid replied
We went inside their backyard and started talking about what happened, everyone was appalled by the news.
"No problem, we're gonna give you money to help Melody. We'll withdraw now if you want. How much time left do we have? It's already 9pm, when did they call? Around 8 you said?" asked Zeki.
"So it means we only have 35 hours left" calculated Kei.
We talked over the plan and talked about our back up plan too. They said they'll catch us up as soon as possible after this.
*MEANWHILE
"Well well well.... Luis... Is my money ready? Or you want me to give you punishment by means if your daughter."
"I can bring you the money, just don't hurt her"
*Val is locating the address of the warehouse through satellite signal and call and urges the father to continue talking just a little bit more.
"Oh don't worry we won't hurt her that bad.. Maybe just... Bruise her..." they heard the scream of Melody and her sobbing while she is getting whipped 5 times.
"YOU ANIMAL! GET AWAY FROM HER!"
"Well, you should be thankful that's the only thing I did... It'll be worst if you don't get what I want. A lot worst... Like this -
He slashed the skin of Melody with a blade once, twice and finally thrice. Her screams echoed through the warehouse,her blood trickling down like a faucet that hasn't been turned off and her eyes crying in pain and torture.
"So as you can see Luis and Harmony, I will be waiting for the money or else I might think about drilling her head...oh and just before I forget... No police or else you'll receive her in bones"
He said and laughed like a maniac and turned the phone shut.
Val has located the exact place where they are now which is in Lacquios Pampangga and has incripted it with a record of the call for evidence in such cases.
They have contacted Crystal and the ACUESTRIANS Squad for further information hoping that within the few hours left they would be able to save Melody.

1 HOURS LEFT
AIDS POV
We're back here in Manila traveling to somewhere close to the location of the warehouse. I don't know how we're gonna do this but all I know is if having Melody by our side again is enough.I could feel the atmosphere darken and get heavy... Breaths held in with every street we passed hoping Melody would be one of those people waving or waiting for us... They appointed the meeting at night to make it more intense. But If I get the opportunity to get Melody I will do it without fear... 1 hour left and we'll get to see her again... I'm with her father and brother, we didn't bring the girls with us just incase something happens.
We arrived at the place where they said we'd be picking Melody up... I couldn't help but think what she looks like now...May the Lord forgive for what I might do to them... We waited for a long time and every sec that passes seems to be taking forever.. The feeling of dread inside of you not knowing what could happen any minute is torturing me through the bones. I wouldn't forgive myself if something happens to her...
"Your early... But that's good no worries."
"Are you the one who called us? Where's Melody? What did you do to her!" Val exclaimed
"Take it easy bro... Chill. We'll get there. And no it wasn't me, I'm just his people but not the boss. Melody is... She's doing better now, she'll be here in a few minutes. Where's the money?"
"We won't give the money unless we have Melody."
"Did I say to give it to me? I only said where it is. Not for you to give it. Listen better bro."
"Don't you speak to my son like that criminal" Mr. Virtuoso butted in.
"Woah Criminal is a pretty harsh word old man. Oh look she's here"
We looked in the direction he was looking at and saw a black van with Melody coming down and two men holding her by the arms.
"LET GO OF HER!" I shouted, I was about to sprint forward when a gunshot of thrice was let out.
"Oh no nauty boy, that ain't the plan." the man in the black coat and mask moved forward closer to Melody and took her in his arms nearly choking her.
"Throw the money first then you'll get Melody."
"Melody first before the money." Val said seriously.
"That, isn't how it works. The money now or you won't get her."
"Just give them the money son we'll find another way to get it back come on.." Mr. Virtuoso said.
Val threw the money on the floor and kicked it towards the guys holding Melody.
"Check the bag, if it's OK throw it in the van."
Another checked the bag laughing and put it in the van.
"Now give us Melody"
"Hmmm I think... Not" and he picked Melody up and threw her in the backseat while another rained bullets on us and screeched there way out of where we were but before they could get any further Val threw a GPS device that was able to cling on to it before they could get away.
"DAMN IT! AHHHH! I TOLD YOU PA! WE SHOULD HAVE JUST FOUGHT OUR WAY TO GET MELODY!"
"If we were dead we ain't gonna be able to get her out of here are we? So calm down we have the GPS. Let's go" and he went back in the car we rented.
"Find where they are we're gonna follow them and find our own way."
We tracked them a few minutes away and found the van they used, it was a warehouse, a large one I can say, kind of abandoned based on the name and location.
"We need to spread out. Aid you go to the right, Val left and I'll go on forward."
We went our separate ways always watching to see if there are any others around us. I felt my heart jump from my chest in unisense with my every step.. The warehouse was large and there are hardly any windows at all as I can see. I went a few meters further into the woods surrounding it and found a light not far away. That has to be a way in... I went closer and a window was locked, damn how am I going to get through this? Break it? But that'll cause a scene at baka ma huli ako agad.. Do I have another choice? No I guess not. Well then here it goes. I took a nearby rock and broke the window completely so that no shards of glass was left.
