Depth of pain

I promised to come pick her up after calling her the previous night. I pressed her door bell and she opened the door, looking pretty as ever just that she looks really tired and worn out. 


She entered my car and I drove off, I turned to look at her and I saw her fast asleep, she looks really tired, she didn't even apply her lipstick well, there's a smudge on the left side of her lips. "I can't make her go to work this tired" I thought. 


I turned the car around and drove back to her apartment. When I got there, I carried her into her house and told Chioma not to make her come to work. 


In the evening, I still had a lot to do since Bianca isn't here to help me, I ordered Alex to go pick them up and after a while, I rushed home. I had a quick shower, wore a comfy cloth and went downstairs.
