At 5 years old, Madilynnes' best friend Katie is kidnapped by Rogues. Katies' parents are murdered, and shortly after, Madilynnes' mom is also killed. Madilynne's life is turned upside down in more ways than one. She was uprooted from the only home she's ever known and thrown into a life she never expected to have. Walking out of the kitchen, I could hear as Kade and Jace continued to talk as Cassie coughed, inhaling deeply for air. I smiled to myself, serves her right. I soon found myself standing outside, breathing in the crisp evening fall air. 


"Madi!" Aviana waved to me from the distance, turning to a taller male she said something and shortly after started a light jog to where I was. "Woah tiger, what's up with the eyes? Who pissed in your cheerios?" Her smile faltered as she got closer. Running a hand down my face I growled out "Cassie." 


"Oh. Do tell." Her eyes were encouraging. I softly laughed "She touched Kade's arm, and then My mark on him. My wolf lost it. I lost it." Aviana gasped with her eyes growing wide "God's is she still alive?" I nodded my head. "WHAT! I'm surprised Your wolf didn't shred her ass!"
