At 5 years old, Madilynnes' best friend Katie is kidnapped by Rogues. Katies' parents are murdered, and shortly after, Madilynnes' mom is also killed. Madilynne's life is turned upside down in more ways than one. She was uprooted from the only home she's ever known and thrown into a life she never expected to have. After her best friend's disappearance and her moms' murder, she is left broken.
Soon after Madilynne's 18th birthday, everything she's ever known in her hectic life is flipped on her again. With one word, "Mate" .

"I'll have a room ready for you this afternoon, until then you're with me. Might as well start your training now." Kole shrugged as he walked down a hall. 


Following Kole down the hall, I noticed the similarities this House held to Kades. With the exception of Koles being more homey than extravagant. It suited him. 


Walking into Koles office I sat down on the sofa, "So where do we start Alpha?" I joked as I lazily flopped backward in a laying position. 


"Kole is fine, Madi." Kole said while rolling his eyes at me, earning a chuckle from me. 


"We start from the heart of the pack, the problems. The pack is only strong when we are united as one." Koles expression was serious, instantly sobering my laughs. 


"Alrighty, what problems do we have?" I asked, sitting up. 


"The problems You have are on this list." Kole said holding up a paper. Standing up I walked over and grabbed the list to read.
