BLAMING MYSELF

After driving around for at least half an hour we stopped in front of a diner. Hayden went inside and bought two take out boxes. It was a cheese burger and loaded fries, along with a drink. I took it from him quietly and ate the food. After throwing the boxes away, he turned the car back on the road to home. He stopped the car in the parking of the house. I stepped outside making my way towards the door when I felt someone grip my hand. It was Hayden. I tried to let go but his grip was too tight. He stopped, holding my shoulders to keep me in place.

"Don't try to run away from me and tell me what happened that night" His eyes were red in anger.

"Let me go" I squirmed under his hold which only tightened in result.

"What happened?" He asked once again. I didn't reply. He took a deep breath before he asked me again.
