“ ‘Lare what did he do to you?” He asked me, patiently.
“You know then why ask me?” I bit in my tears that were threatening to spill out.
“ ‘Lare,” He repeated again.
“Don’t call me by a pet name” I stated angrily, Making my way to the door. I passed by him, bumping my shoulder into his, just to be pulled back. I steadied myself before crashing into his chest.
“Let me go” I squirmed under his hold.
“You are not going anywhere” His face was stoic.
“Yes, I am,” I replied. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. I tried to get his hand off my arm, but it had a firm grip, as if never wanting to let go. Suddenly, the surroundings started changing.
“What is happening?” I asked, frightened.
“Remember something?” Draven’s voice made me jump. I was transported into my childhood room as the movie started in front of me all over again, except this time, I wasn’t alone.
“Mommy, find me” A girl’s voice came from behind the door. I squeezed my eyes shut.
